This is Jeremy Langford.
Jeremy Langford is a 25-year-old CEO of the company inherited from his father. He is known to be reserved, grumpy, and silent. According to him, humans are annoying. The smart, intelligent, and handsome bachelor had to be bothered by no one otherwise he rains hellfire on people. Truth to be told, he did rain on them anyway, even if people had annoyed him or not. No temperament issues but still there was a handful number of people who could put a smile on his face.
Now, what happens when the girl from his high school is seen in the crowd of interviewees? He has known Lily to be an intelligent and smart person also an academic rival to him who belonged to quite a well-to-do family then what brings her to apply for the job of an assistant?- were the first and the only thoughts of Jeremy and he had convinced himself the same but is it so?

Lily Pierce could be thrown out of her apartment yet again. While she was trying to save herself from the world, she'd had to juggle between jobs to keep herself afloat. There were various secrets and many other reasons why once a girl from a well-to-do family was now broke and on the run for her survival, let alone having some money to feed the hole in her stomach and keep the roof atop her head.
A miracle where swapping of numbers gets her a job to be an assistant to a CEO. But what she never saw coming was that the CEO was none other than 'the maniacal nemesis' and 'the only friend' she ever had from her high school. Due to her 'broke' state she accepts the job despite it not being hers. Now all she had to do was keep her head down and work, easy right? Nah! Who could resist the charm of the mighty irresistible Boss? Lily? Doubtful. Even when all that the boss does is give her the cold shoulder, some snorts, and groans.
Jeremy and Lily do have a 'little' history together but there were certain things that were secrets to the world as well. What happens when the two of them have to be around each other, and work under the same roof? Will there be any space for feelings or is all that left behind still behind?
