02|| Meeting Lia

«LIA's POV»

I walk through the hallway while yawning because of a sleepless night. I wish I could turn back the time and choose being a song writer instead of entering medical school.

I was lazily walking when my bestfriend Eli came running.

She hang her arm in mine "Hey Lia! Have you heard about this?" she asked right away.

"Heard what?" I mumbled.

"A body from the room where Ms. Jina asked you to go yesterday was missing since last night" Eli reported.

"And so?" I answered unaware.

"E-eh?" she uttered.

"What should I do then? Find i--?" My eyes widened when reality slapped me. W-what?!

I immediately left her behind and ran to the morgue. It is on the third floor.

"H-hey Lia!" Eli called but I didn't listened. I'm sure I will be questioned since I'm the only one who entered that room.

"Haa.." I breathlessly uttered after reaching the room.

This area is so creepy since the sunlight doesn't reach out. The whole floor was so empty and I guess I was the only who's here. Maybe the rest are busy looking for the body.

I calmed myself as I start to walk little by little until I reached the door of the morgue. My body started to shake when the door was left slightly open.

"Ho... You can do this Lia. If you don't, you'll end up in detention room and will be ask a million question" I whispered to myself to gain more courage. I carefully kicked the door and enter.

My heart started to beat very fast as soon as I roamed my eyes inside the room. The beds of the dead are totally fine but every mirror inside were smashed. The blood donations of the students stocked in the corner was openly scattered on the ground.

I am busy observing the room when my eyes landed on a bed in the corner. It was the separated one. The black cloth was tattered and the body was missing.

No way...

I went on to check it and my eyes were right. The body with two marks on his neck was the one who's missing. My jaws dropped in disbelief but I flinched I suddenly felt someone passed by at the back.

I instantly looked back but I saw no one. The place was getting creepy and it scares me out.

I immediately exited the room and went back on Eli.

I was near the nurse's office when some students bumped into me like they were rushing. I lift up my gaze and saw the famous guy, Kim Sunoo at the end carrying a girl.

"Excuse me" he excused and I immediately gave him way.

As soon as the girl was laid out, the nurse checked her out and I couldn't stop myself to peek at her. My whole body shaken.

Blood are splashing through her neck. The blood was coming from two holes. The one....

...whose exactly like the holes I saw from the body.

I slowly went out from the nurse's office breathing heavily.

'Who are you?' a voice whispered in Lia's ears that surprised her more. She instantly looked around to spot the person but no one is near to her.

She covered her ears and hid her face using her hair.

"Don't listen. Don't listen. What is happening?" Lia whispered to herself.

'To your right' the voice added.

"Stop! That's just your thought Lia" she whispered and clenched her fist as a tear escaped from her eyes.

"Lia!" Eli called and approached her.

Eli's eyes widened "what's happening? Are you okay?" she asked continuously.

Lia slowly opened her eyes.

"What's happening? Why are you crying?"

Lia breathed heavily. "It's okay. It's okay. You'll be okay" Eli calmed her down with a hug.

After a moment, Eli offered her to go back to the room. As Eli escorted Lia, Lia cannot help herself not to look back.

Her eyes caught a fine young man wearing a hospital gown and barefooted looking at her but he broke it off immediately and left.

She never got to see his face because of his swift gestures. She totally ignored it thinking he might be a doctor.

"Let's go El--" she was cut off when she saw her friend looking at the same direction with a fierce eyes.

She took a sigh and hang her arm in hers "Eli, I said let's go. I saw nothing" Lia blankly said.

"O-oh yeah. I forgot" Eli replied and sarcastically laughed.

Eli caressed her back as they both return in their classroom.

While the bestfriends were having their way back to the room, the man silently watched every steps they took.

'That was a nice act, Eli' the man said in his thought like he was communicating with someone through his mind.
