Mr. Kim blankly walked back home leaving Sunghoon behind to spare some time with his mom.

His knees shaken so he tried to sit down under a tree. His conversation with Queen Lily echoed in his mind.

"Your house was attacked the other night. I know you knew nothing about it because you're busy working" Lily started.

"Your son Sunghoon told me about it when I came home."

Lily sighed, "I will strengthen the guard in the portal to lessen the arriving of enemies in here."

"That's too late. They are already in here even Lia's half sister."

Lily gulped not being able to move.

"I know. As you know, I can't meddle with this fights because this is our children's fate" Lily said with a shaking voice.

"I don't want to lose any of my son but I can't lose Lia either. She has the image of my late best friend, Elias" the tears Lily has been holding back, crashed down.

"I don't know what have I done in the past to suffer like this."

Mr. Kim lowered his gaze and didn't respond.

Lily sniffed and tried to calm down. "The crown prince Heeseung, the fifth prince Sunoo, and Sunghoon are in here watching over your daughter. As they keep Lia safe, I hope you can keep them safe too."

Mr. Kim lifted his gaze, "I may be just a mere human but I was a great hunter. I know to myself that as long is Lia safe, your children are safe."

Lily holds a great trust towards Mr. Kim.

Lily bid her goodbye to her son. The full moon caught her attention. She stared at it and a spark was seen on her blood tinted eyes flashing the dark past.

Lily and Elias always sneak out to the palace to play with each other. Lily is the only princess of the Vampires while Elias is the princess of the Wolves.

They know to themselves that the two kingdoms will reunite once they will be crowned but for now, they must hide their friendship because the two scary kingdoms will be against and can lead to their own death.

They both turned 18 and Elias was the only one who became a queen.

Lily's father didn't tend to pass her the throne because she's still young.

Lily accepted her fate along with Elias. Yet, their friendship is still hidden.

Not until, Elias was forced to marry, Vilgamor. The bravest warrior of Elias's father. Just a year more and Lily will also hold the throne of the Vampires.

Elias was against the marriage and ran away from her kingdom leading out to the portal. She came back to her senses when she is in a peaceful forest.

Her silence was ruined when she realized a human is pointing his bow at her.

Elias stayed still and didn't attacked since she can feel his shaking emotions.

The human tends to be Kim SooJeong and a hunter. Soojeong pitied the woman since she looks lost.

A call from his father echoed in the forest. Soojeong knows that once his father saw the shining eyes and fangs of Elias, he will shoot her endlessly.

Since Soojeong fell in love at first sight, he ran away with Elias.

The incident slowly led to something that Soojeong and Elias call a "family" and a home when Elias gave birth to a girl.
