"Hey! What are you thinking in there?" Eli asked elbowing Lia beside her who's lost in her thoughts. Lia took a deep breath and faced her friend.

They stared ay each other for a moment without a word. Eli waited for Lia to speak but she eventually looked away, "nothing."

"What?! Are you kidding me?!" Eli scolded grabbing Lia's sleeve.

"Something is wrong. Tell me!" she added looking at Lia sharply.

Lia froze and gulped her own saliva.

"I-is that h-him?" Eli whispered focusing her eyes to Sunghoon standing blankly while staring at the both of them in the balcony. Lia cannot explain everything to her friend so they ran away from class and went to Lia's place.

"Shut up and just go greet him. He has very sharp ears. He might hear your mumblings" Lia replied clenching her teeth and elbowed Eli beside her.

Eli quickly cleared her throat and start stepping up jn the staircase towards Sunghoon.

"H-hi... My name is Eli" she introduced and offered a hand shake forcing a smile.

Sunghoon looked down to her hands and stared at it for a moment.

"It's better okay if you don't" Eli mumbled and was about to keep her hands when Sunghoon suddenly grabbed it.

Sunghoon broke it afterwards and passed her by walking towards Lia. Eli began to sweat, her face became pale after holding Sunghoon's very cold hands.

Lia stood still when Sunghoon is in front of her.

"W-well, did you stay in the balcony all this time? When I left until now, you were in the same place" Lia asked.

"You told me to wait until you return" he replied coldly.

Lia smiled, "but I didn't say you will stay still in one place. You can stay inside the house and wait" as she tip-toe and pat him in the head.

"You're good at waiting, are you?" Lia cheered with a smile.

As they both happily talk, Eli suddenly grabbed Lia's hand that surprised Sunghoon that made him immediately held Eli's wrist giving her a sharp gaze that made Eli swallow her very own saliva.

"I-I... I-I'll j-just e....e-excuse L-Lia" Eli stuttered.

He then loosen his grip in her wrist as Eli quickly pulled Lia inside the house shutting the door hard and leaving Sunghoon outside.

"Wait! That's rude. Let him in!" Lia complained and was about to grab the doorknob when Eli pulled her back and held her tight in the shoulders.

"Lia, where did you met him?" Eli asked with teary eyes.

Lia starts to look in her eyes confused, "w-why?"

"I'm asking where is he from?" Eli repeated.

Lia took a deep breath, "I don't know. He won't exactly tell me. He was roaming around the school campus unknown that's why I invited him over."

Eli closed her tightly breathing heavily, "Have you forgotten Lia? Did you forget about Jungwon?!He was unknown and you kept him! Now, he is nowhere to be found!" she scolded yelling.

"Why are you yelling at me?! So what if he is like Jungwon? Is it because of the findings that Jungwon is a vampire and such?! Even if Jungwon turned into those things, did you expect I would leave his side?! I never saw him turned into those accusations! He is so precious to be like that! And even if Sunghoon is like him, I would keep him because....." Lia started to sob.

"..........because the outside world is more brutal! I watched my friend Jungwon suffered from those people and I won't let anyone suffer the same thing... Even you...." Lia explained crashing down to the ground.

Eli's tears started to fall one by one. She kneeled to the ground and hugged Lia, "I just don't want to see you being sad for years again. When you lost him, I felt like I lost my whole world too seeing you crying morning 'til sunset looking for a friend. I'm sorry" she apologized.

"I miss him. I really do" Lia confessed in the warmth of Eli's embrace.

Eli didn't respond and caressed her back.

Sunghoon lowered his gaze after hearing everything behind the door.

He slowly looked up in the blue sky.

"Mom, is this what you call a mission? Why does it need to be a coincidence? Why do I need to be with my brother's first love? Jungwon, is this the family you've been babbling about then why did you left not leaving a word?" Sunghoon asked afar.
