04|| Hidden Identity

The next day, Lia quickly got up from her bed and ran downstairs.

"H-hey! Slow down!" Her dad calmed her down but she just passed through him.

"Dad, I dropped my phone in the school last night" Lia responded and immediately took her shower.

"That's why I always tell you to take care of your things everytime" her dad scolded and continued fixing the table for breakfast.

He's in the middle of eating his food when Lia finished wearing her uniform. Lia quickly wore her shoes and hugged her dad goodbye.

"Goodbye dad. I'm going" she whispered.

"W-wait! Can't you at least have a bite?!"her dad yelled but she's no longer around.

«LIA's POV»

I used all my strength running in the street. I must arrive at the school immediately. I remembered dropping my phone beside Soo Hyun's body. Once the police captured it, I'm sure I'm the one to be blamed in her death.

After minutes of running, I arrived at the classroom panting. The room is filled with crowd.

I'm doomed......

The police are already in here.....

I sat up in the staircase and tried to catch my breath. After calming down, I took the courage to go to the room. The students gave my way until I reached the prohibited line.

I tried to peek inside the room and the police are still investigating the scene. Soo Hyun is still on the ground with her blood scattered around.

Poor her. Who would ever do such a thing to an innocent young woman?

I tried to spot my phone around but I saw nothing. I guess they already saw it.

I took a deep sigh and turned around to leave. I guess it's time to accept the fact that I will be framed.

But one thing makes me wonder. Who is the killer? Sunoo took a student in the nurse's office and she has a bite mark in her neck. Soo Hyun also has it. And the...... missing body...... oh wait! A man appeared in front of me last night! But where is he?

Lia is lost in her thoughts when she spotted the famous guy, Sunoo in the hallway.

"Kim Sunoo!" Lia called and waved her hands high in the air with a smile. Sunoo blankly lifted his gaze and watched her ran towards him.

They aren't friends nor classmates but Lia still took the courage to talk to him.

"I need to know something before I will be put into jail" Lia said and grabbed his wrist dragging him in the rooftop.

As soon as they faced each other, Sunoo got himself ready to listen.

"This is awkward but I just want to ask you something about the girl you brought in the nurse's office early in the morning yesterday?" Lia asked.

Sunoo lowered his gaze. "It's Choi Yoo Na" he shortly replied.

Lia's eyes widened "Choi Yoo Na?! Isn't she your friend?!" she alarmed.

"Yes and she was brought in the hospital immediately because of her wound in the neck" Sunoo explained.

"And about that wound, what happened?" Lia added.

"How can I know? Your teacher Ms. Jina is the one who came asking for help. We just found her in the school playground fighting for her life."

Lia bit her lip and start to connect things in her mind.

"If you have nothing more to say, I'll go now. I'm not in the mood to spill any thing anymore" Sunoo lowly said.

"Ah. Sorry. Yeah you can go now. I hope Yoo Na will recover fast" Lia said and smiled brightly.

Sunoo blankly turned his back and left.

"Awsh! Why am I even thinking about it. I should worry about my phone. I'm doomed!" Lia complained.

Out of frustration,she took out her pointed hair pin and was about to fix her hair into a bun. In the middle of the process, Eli came running towards her with her arms open.

Before she could even stop her, Eli hugged her tight. Lia misplaced the pin and accidentally slide down in her hands making a scratched wound.

"Ah!" Lia silently groaned in pain as Eli immediately broke the hug.

"Oh my! Lia, are you okay?!" Eli asked and checked on her. Lia saw her palm starting to bleed and instantly covered it.

"I'm sorry! I was just too desperate to see you" Eli apologized.

"No no no. It's okay. I'm okay. Nothing happened" Lia lied and forced a smile not to make her worry.

"Are you sure?"Eli reassured. Lia quickly nodded.

"I'm sorry."

Lia smiled "I said it's okay. You have nothing to worry about. I'll just go to the rest room. Wait for me in the room" she ordered.

Eli lifted her gaze with a smile. "Okay. I'm sorry."

As soon as Eli is out of her sight, she quickly checked on her wound. Her eyes widened, body froze and her jaw dropped.

"W-what happened?" She stuttered being surprised when her wound disappeared.

"I'm sure I saw it bleeding earlier. Or maybe I saw it wrong?" she whispered while checking on every part of her hand. She picked up her hair pin and it was also clean.

She heavily breathed "Am I going crazy? I kept hearing strange noises and now, my wound healed. Am I an alien? Or..... Am I... turning into a zombie?" She continuously whispered in herself.

"What if you're a werewolf?"

"That's what I'm saying! Who are you?!" Lia yelled when someone spoke in her thoughts again. She roamed around her eyes and caught Sunoo in the school ground staring at her in the rooftop but not even a minute, he broke it off.

"A werewolf? Pft! We're not in a book or movie" as Lia sarcastically laughed before leaving the rooftop.

Behind the trees in the school nursery was the man watching Lia the whole time.

"If you only knew, you're surrounded by them" he whispered in the air.
