Ryu had gotten Lyric home in less than five minutes and he parked in Lyric's driveway. "All right. Well, I'll see you at school then." He smiled.
Lyric nodded. "Yeah. Thanks for the ride." He offered a small smile and then he opened the door and he went inside his house. He watched as Ryu pulled out and Lyric quickly checked his phone. Nothing. He then heard another car and he ran to the window, peering out and seeing Vance's car. He hurried to the door and opened it, watching as Vance slowly made his way up the front lawn.
He entered the house and Lyric let the door close behind them. "So, what is it? Are you all right?" Lyric asked worriedly. He'd never seen Vance so upset.
Vance bit his lip. He shook his head. "I just...S-Something happened..."
Lyric watched him intently. "Wh-What happened?" He asked, staring up at him.
Vance sniffed slightly and he glared at the floor. He clenched his fists and sighed. "My dad...I-I told him that...Well, I-I told him that I was gay. And...h-he got so mad and he...He kicked me out and I-I don't know what to do, Kitten..." Vance whispered, eyes watering as he squeezed his eyes shut.
Lyric bit his lip and watched him intently, wringing his hands together. "Oh, Vance...I-I'm sorry..." He apologized, debating on whether to hug him or not. Deciding that he'd take the risk of getting pushed away, he wrapped his little arms around Vance's torso and hugged him close. "Really...sorry..."
Vance blinked and a small smile tugged on his lips from Lyric's actions. "It isn't your fault. You shouldn't blame yourself..." He whispered quietly, holding Lyric close, one hand wrapped around his waist and the other stroking the back of his head, fingers coming through his soft, black hair.
"But I feel like it's my fault..." Lyric mumbled softly. "If I hadn't moved here, this wouldn't have happened."
Vance shook his head and gently rocked himself and Lyric, trying to calm Lyric, but mostly himself with his rhythmic movements. "It had nothing to do with you. I would have realized that I was gay sooner or later. None of this was your fault. This talk had to have come, anyway. Only, I wish it'd turned out different. I hoped my dad would try and be supportive, but I guess not."
Lyric gnawed on his lower lip, burying his face in Vance's torso. "I'm not sure if my dad even really knows... I don't know if my mom told him. But I plan on telling him the next time I see him." Lyric's fingers gently gripped the back of Vance's shirt.
Vance chuckled softly. "Promise you'll tell me how that goes?"
"Promise..." Lyric nodded. "I'll tell you everything. Now," He looked up at him. "It's getting late and you should really stay. We have, like, three extra guest bedrooms."
Vance looked down at him. "You sure?"
"Of course. You're my boyfriend, Vance. You can stay any time." Lyric smiled and watched him. "So?"
Vance nodded and a small smile tugged at his lips. "Sure."
"Great!" Lyric giggled and he let go of Vance, skipping down the hall. "Follow me."
Vance did as told and Lyric led him into a regular sized bedroom with plain grey walls and a queen sized bed with light blue sheets, pillowcases, and a comforter. Basically, a cozy bedroom. Vance looked it over. "Nice..." He nodded in approval. "Thank you, Lyric. Really. Thank you." He smiled and pulled him close, pressing their lips together.
Lyric blushed and they shared a soft kiss. When Vance pulled back, he smiled. "You're welcome, Vance..." Lyric nodded, a shy smile upon his lips. "Well, anyway, I'm gonna go get ready for bed. If you need me, I'm in the next room to the left." He stood on his tip-toes and managed to kiss his jaw. That was all he could reach. Then, he skipped out of the room, into his own and stripped from his outfit. He changed into a pair of red boxers and a black shirt that was clearly too big. It hung off one shoulder and almost reached his knees, but not quite. He tossed his clothes in the hamper and then clicked off his light, climbing into bed. He smiled softly and closed his eyes, knowing that Vance was closer to him than usual. He slowly drifted off to sleep.
