~Third Person ~ Later That Day~

Tony paced around the kitchen, running a hand through his hair. "I don't know what to do! She's out of control!"

"Maybe you shouldn't have sent her away," Natasha mumbled to herself. Unfortunately, Tony heard her.

"I thought I was doing what's best for her! I don't want her-"

Natasha rolled her eyes. "-you don't want her going down the path you did. Yes, I know, you've said that a million times Tony. But you still sent her there despite the rest of us saying that we didn't think it was a good idea. She has PTSD and trust issues and you made that worse! You made her spiral into a mental breakdown!"

"Mental breakdown?"

Meanwhile, Jade knocked on Harley's bedroom door. When he answered it, he put his hands up defensively.

"Are you going to try to seduce me again, cause there are other people in the building now and I really don't want your dad walking in and trying to kill me"

Jade laughed, shaking her head. "No, I wanted to talk"

He stepped aside, allowing her to walk into the room. She sat on the edge of his bed.

"I'm sorry about what happened earlier..."

Harley waved his hand dismissively. "It's not your fault" He sat down in front of her "I went along with it, I should have thought about it more, about what you've been through and that maybe it wasn't a good idea..."

"I instigated it..." Jade looked down at her lap.

Harley was worried about her. He hasn't known her long and he didn't know her before she went to Radley but from how everyone else talked about her he could tell that she wasn't normally like this. "Are you okay Jade? Is something wrong?"

Jade shook her head. "I'm fine..."

"No, you're not. I didn't know you before but I know you were not like this... I've seen the videos Jarvis has..."

"Harley... I'm fine..." She sighed. "I will be fine... I didn't come in here to talk about my feelings, I came in to apologize for trying to seduce you"

They both laughed. Harley shook his head, chuckling. "It was fun, even though we didn't get far. But we probably shouldn't have done anything... I should've known better, I mean you're Peter's girl"

"What do you mean I'm Peter's girl?"

He shrugged. "You guys are best friends... Obvious sexual tension aside, you guys are very close. You're his girl"

Jade had no idea what to say... What does he mean by 'Obvious sexual tension'? There isn't any sexual tension between her and Peter. "I... I don't even know what you mean by that... There isn't any sexual tension between us...?"

Harley shrugged, smirking. "Whatever you say. So there's no more of you trying to seduce me again?"

"Nope," Jade said laughing.

Pepper had been walking by when she heard Harley say that. She stopped in her tracks, her eyes widening. She shook her head and walked away before Jade or Harley could catch her. She got to the living room just as Jade walked out of Harley's room.

"Jade!"

Jade jumped, startled. "Hey Pep, what's up?"

"Can we talk?"

"I was uh, just about to go get a snack..."

Pepper nodded. "Well, get your snack and then come to my office so we can talk, okay?"
