Something Wicked This Way Comes...

~A/N~ I'm sorry for taking so long to update. I have 18 WIP rn (Only 5 that are published) and I keep getting new ideas and it's getting overwhelming for me. Plus my laptop is going to shit, the monitor/screen is like broken and I have to keep my laptop open. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this chapter. I'll try to update more (I have so many of chapters of this on docs, like this is chapter 37 out of like 74)~

~Jade's POV ~ Three Days Later~

I slowly tried to open my eyes but was blinded by a bright light. After a few minutes, I tried again and was able to open my eyes a tiny bit for a split second.

Before my eyes closed again, I saw Tony sitting in a chair next to me. "Daddy..." My voice came out quiet and weak.

"Jadey... Hunny, are you okay?"

I finally managed to open my eyes. Tony was leaning forwards in his chair, running one hand through my hair and the other holding my hand. I felt myself start to cry "I'm sorry Daddy..."

Tony shook his head. "You have nothing to be sorry about Hunny, it's not your fault"

"Yes it is, we shouldn't have gone, we shouldn't have drank, we shouldn't have snuck out..."

He kissed my hand as tears started to run down his face. "You're right, but that doesn't mean it's your fault. Now, I don't want to talk about this anymore. I want you to focus on getting better"

I nodded but stopped when I got a sharp pain in my head. "How are Harley and Natalie? Are they okay?"

"Yes, they're okay. Harley has a broken arm, a broken foot, and a few broken ribs, Natalie has broken ribs and a broken foot and they both have a slight concussion. They're able to go home today, but I don't think they're going to want to. I think they're going to want to stay here with you"

"Okay..."

I moved over a little bit, causing Tony to jump up.

"Hunny, be careful. I don't want you hurting yourself..."

I pat the space next to me. "Lay with me..."

Tony smiled and chuckled. He laid down next to me and I laid my head on his chest. I told him about what had happened after I had been knocked out, about my 'out of body experience'. Tony teared up when I told him about what mom had said about Pepper, but he wouldn't admit that he was emotional.

Tony chuckled to himself. "Your mother always was such a selfless person..."

~Third Person~

The doctor came in to check up on her and then Jade fell asleep not long afterwards. Tony kissed her head and held her close to him. The doctors didn't think she would wake up at all so this was a good sign.

Tony moved back to his chair, even though he wanted to stay with her, he didn't want to pull on any of the tubes or anything. He couldn't stop thinking about what Jade had told him. She had talked to Ava... Ava wanted Tony to move on...

After Ava died, Tony never thought he'd be able to move on. Pepper had been there for him and when he started having feelings for her, he pushed them away. Then that night at the gala, when he saw her in the blue dress, he knew he had no choice but to admit his feelings to not only her but to himself.

Meanwhile, a few floors above them was a young girl, nearly thirteen years old, sitting at her mother's bedside, holding her hand as tears ran down her face. A few minutes later, the heart monitor went flat. Doctors and Nurses ran in and tried to resuscitate her but their efforts were fruitless...

The girl was left to say her goodbyes before she was taken out of the room. She and her parents had been in an accident and had hit another car, causing them both to crash. Her parents' car had gone into a ditch, flipped over, and caught on fire. Her father died on impact while her mother had been in critical condition, until now.
