Jade Stark's Story *On Hiatus*

The Facility

~A/N~ Happy First Day of October aka First Day Of Halloween! And yes, there will be a Halloween chapter of this story but I have no idea when it will be written and published. It probably won't be for a while since it's only June in the fic but I have TONS of chapters on google docs and I will be posting them periodically so it will take a while to get to the Halloween chapter.~ 

~A Week Later ~ Jade's POV~

I sat on the couch waiting. School was over and today, I was being sent to a 'Correctional Facility' for god knows how long.

(Okay so I know a Correctional Facility is like a juvie but I didn't know what else to call it so just bear with me. Also, I know Tony is overreacting but what else is new)

Peter, Pepper, Rhodey, May, and the other Avengers tried to talk Tony out of sending me away but he wouldn't change his mind.

"Hey..."

I looked up. Peter was standing over by the hallway looking nervous. "Hi..."

"I'm sorry Jadey... This is all my fault..." He came over and sat on the arm of the chair. "I shouldn't have made you go to that party, and I definitely shouldn't have made you stay longer than you had to"

"It's not your fault, I could have not gone or I could have left when I wanted to but I didn't want to leave you there"

He smiled. "Thanks... I still feel horrible though. I mean, it's your first summer and you're spending it at some rehab or whatever"

My head shot up to look at him. "Am I staying the whole summer?!?!" My heart started pounding out of my chest. I can't stay for the whole summer! It's my first summer out... I wanted to do stuff with Peter, Ned, MJ, Kacey, and Pip... Tony's just going to send me away for the whole summer and then bring me back for school?! I started breathing heavily and couldn't see straight

Peter quickly shook his head, he ran over and sat on the coffee table in front of me, putting his hands on my shoulders trying to calm me down. "No no no, he's not. Well, I don't think he is, I think it's just for a month. What I meant was that your spending some of the summer there when you should be sending the whole summer with us"

I should be... But now I'm being sent away...

Peter wiped the tears that I didn't realize were flowing down my face. He switched seats so that he was sitting next to me and he pulled me into a hug. "You'll be okay... I wish I could have done more to convince Mr. Stark not to send you but he's being a stubborn ass-"

I couldn't help but giggle at that. Tony was being a stubborn ass.

"-You're not being abandoned Jade, I know that's what you're thinking, but you're not. Mr. Stark would never just do that, especially after just getting you back. And even if he did, I would never allow that. I'm sorry I've been an ass these last few days... I've just been... Dealing with something..."

"Dealing with what?"

He smiled slightly but he looked sad... "Don't worry about it"

"I don't wanna go..." A few tears ran down my face. What if I never come back? What if Peter gets a new friend and replaces me? I can't lose Peter... He was my first friend, like ever. He's my best friend...

Tears ran down Peter's face as he pulled me into another hug. "I don't want you to go either... But you have no choice. If Mr. Stark wants to send you he has every right to..."

Tony walked in but stopped when he saw Peter and I. "What's goin on here?"

I pulled away from Peter, I wiped my face, and shrugged. "Nothing, I was just saying goodbye..."
