“You guys look so beautiful!” Pepper said as she started to tear up. She and Nat had been helping us get ready for Homecoming, Pepper did our hair while Natasha did our makeup.
“It’s just a dance, it’s not that big of a deal…”
Pepper crossed her arms. “It is most certainly a big deal! This is Homecoming!”
I rolled my eyes playfully. “Can we get going now?”
“Not yet, we need pictures.” Nat said. I rolled my eyes and we went out to the main room where most of the boys were waiting. Peter went to pick up MJ and then they were going straight to the school where Ned was going to meet them. Theo, Pip, and Kacey, came over to ride with us to the school since we were all going as a group. The boys looked up as we came out and their jaws dropped.

Natasha smirked. “How do they look, boys?”
“Um…” Harley stared at Joce. “P-Pretty…”
Pip and Theo nodded in agreement. Pepper came out with her camera, followed by Tony and Grace, who thankfully, wasn’t coming with because she didn’t want to go. “You look beautiful Sweetheart” Tony said, smiling.
“Thanks”
“You all look lovely,” He said to the other girls.
Pepper took pictures of all of us, both by ourselves, one of just the boys, one of just the girls, and then one of all of us. After pictures were taken, we said goodbye to everyone and Natasha and Pepper drove us to the school, since they were chaperoning.
The others chatted amongst themselves while I just looked at my shoes… I don’t want to see Peter with her… He’ll be touching her, hugging her, kissing her, loving her… This was supposed to be him and I… Not him and her.
As we pulled up to the school, I got a sudden wave of apprehension. Should I be doing this? Should I go home? No… I’m doing this for Momma… She wants me to go…
“You guys ready?” Natasha asked.
We all nodded and got out of the car. The whole school was decorated nicely, surprisingly, with balloons and streamers. We parted with Natasha and Pepper so they could go see the other chaperones, and the rest of us went to the gym, which was also decorated nicely.
We all looked around in amazement. “How much do you think this cost?”
