Meeting Her

~A/N~ Okay so I'm in a bit of a dilemma and if you read this and like this story, I REALLY need someone to comment and help me... I've been writing chapters on Google Docs and saving them up so that I have a lot to post and since I haven't been posting a lot (Oops) I have a lot of chapters saved up. I started writing chapter 75 (like I said, a lot) and I was thinking that maybe this is too many chapters, especially since nothings really been happening (I apologize for that, it really got away from me). I was thinking of maybe making another book and making this a series but the last time I did that nobody really read the sequel (I also have no idea what to call the sequel for this if I did one), would you continue reading this story and read the sequel/second book? Should I just try and end the book before I hit 100 chapters? Should I continue writing this and not care how many chapters there are? I don't plan out all my fics so I don't really know when or how this will end. I have no idea what to do...~

~Two Days Later ~ Third Person~

Tony was pacing in the hallway of the hospital nervously. The day prior, a social worker came to the tower to make sure Pepper and Tony were qualified to foster Grace and that the tower was suitable for a child. Both adults and the tower passed.

But today Tony had to tell all of the kids about Grace. He wasn't really worried about telling Peter, Harley, and Natalie but more so about telling Jade. He had no idea how she would react, he would love to wait until the last possible moment but Pepper said that Jade needed time to process everything and she was going to be leaving soon.

They found out that Jade heals fast, probably due to her powers. She doesn't heal as fast as Peter, Steve, or Bucky but she still heals faster than a normal person.

"Tony..." Pepper put her hands on his shoulders. "Everything will be okay."

Tony shook his head. "I just don't know how we should react... Maybe we should wait until she's out of the hospital?"

"Tony, we need to do this now. She needs time"

"Can I tell the others first?" He asked hopefully. Pepper shook her head. Tony sighed and went into Jade's room.

Jade was sitting up in her bed drawing. She glanced up when he walked in and then went back to drawing. "Hey Tony"

"Hey, Hun" Tony went over and sat in the chair next to her bed. "I need to talk to you..."

Jade's eyebrows furrowed as she continued drawing. "What's wrong?"

Tony sighed. He took the sketchbook from her so that she would stop drawing. "I need your full attention... Years ago, before your mother died, Pepper and I got drunk at a party and we slept together-" Jade's eyes widened, she went to say something but Tony continued before she could. "-afterwards, I ended up forgetting about it. Well apparently, and I didn't know this until a few days ago, she got pregnant and ended up giving the baby up for adoption... A few days ago, her parents died in a car accident... The same accident you were in... They were in the car that hit you guys... And May brought her up here to meet Pepper and I..."

Jade was sitting there with wide eyes. Tony waited for her to process everything before he told her the rest. She just looked off into the distance and stayed quiet.
