Grace's Birthday

~A/N~ Sorry this is so late, I'm sick and wasn't feeling good enough to update earlier.

Also I have no idea how/when to end this fic. Like do I do a sequel and if so, when do I start the sequel? When they go to college? I don't know what to do~

~Two Weeks Later ~ October 19th ~ Jade’s POV~
 
“Jade, can you hand me the pancake mix?” Pepper asked, putting freshly made pancakes on a plate. 
 
I nodded and handed her the bowl of pancake mix. 
 
“What are my girls up to?” Tony asked as he walked in. 
 
Pepper smiled “Making Grace a birthday breakfast” 
 
Tony looked at me and raised an eyebrow. “You’re helping make Grace a birthday breakfast? I thought you didn’t like her”
 
“I don’t” I rolled my eyes. “Pepper is making me help”
 
“Yeah that makes more sense”
 
I shrugged and went back to the cookies that I was making. Since Pepper was forcing me to help with making stuff for Grace’s birthday and it didn’t take two people to make pancakes, I decided to make cookies. 
 
Pepper and Tony had a whole day planned for her. After breakfast, we’re going to go to a trampoline park, then we’re going to the arcade, then us girls are going to go shopping for something to wear tonight and get our hair done, then we’re all going to do presents and play some games, then we’re going out to dinner, then coming home, having cake and having a movie night. 
 
I don’t want to go, but Pepper, Tony and Peter are forcing me to. Peter said that at the arcade and the trampoline park everyone would be doing their own thing so we didn’t have to hang out with Grace, and then during the games and movie night, she’d probably be focused on the games and movies, so I’d only have to deal with her during the present time, dinner, and shopping. 
 
“Morning,” Grace said, yawning. 
 
“Morning birthday girl!” Pepper went over and gave her a hug. “Happy Birthday! I made breakfast and Jade is making cookies!”
 
Grace gave me a confused look, I just shrugged and went to grab a tray. 
 
“You guys really didn’t have to…”
 
“Well we wanted to, right Jade?” Pepper turned and gave me a look. 
 
I nodded and smiled fakely. “Yep! Sure did”
 
Smiling, Pepper went over and got Grace pancakes. Grace went over to the fridge and Tony came over and whispered. “Thank you”
 
I nodded, going back to the cookies. The only reason I’m being nice and baking anything is because I’m forced to and because I like baking, so at least I get to do something I like. Putting the cookie tray aside, I grabbed another and started putting cookie dough on it. 
 
After breakfast, we all got dressed and drove to the trampoline park. Since there were a lot of us, we had to take two cars. Banner and Steve didn’t want to go to the trampoline park but they were going to meet us at the arcade. Tony drove one car with me in the passenger seat and Joce, Natalie and Peter in the backseat, and Pepper drove the other car with Nat in the passenger seat and Clint, Harley, and Grace in the backseat. 
 
When we got to the trampoline park, we all kinda just separated and did our own things. 
 
Peter and I went to one of the sides of the room and tried to see who could do the best and the most flips, which obviously it was him since he does this stuff without trampolines. I could tell he was taking it easy on me with the flips, because he I guess he didn’t want to make me feel like he was better than me
 
I looked over to where Tony, Pepper, and Grace were. They were all bouncing around together and Tony kept picking up Grace and tossing her onto the trampolines. Sighing, I stopped bouncing and went over to grab a water bottle. 
 
“You okay Babe?” Peter came over, looking at me worriedly. 
 
I nodded. “Yeah…”
 
He shook his head, turning to look at Tony and Grace. “You can’t stop them from having a relationship, Jadey… Grace wants to get to know her birth parents, just like how you wanted to get to know Mr. Stark.”
 
“I know, I don’t want to stop them from having a relationship…”
 
“Then why do you hate her so much?? Cause she’s taking all Mr. Stark’s attention from you?”
 
I shook my head. “No, not that. It’s because she was conceived when Tony cheated on my mother while she was grieving my disappearance… I get that it's not her fault and that Tony was drunk and didn’t mean to cheat on my mom but it still… I can’t help but be mad at her. I'm mad at Tony too and I hate him for it, but I have to love him. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be here…” I looked down and shrugged. “I don’t have to like her, most siblings don’t like each other-”
 
“Siblings love each other deep down, they just annoy each other and think that they don’t love them” 
 
“Says the only child,” I said, rolling my eyes. “But anyways, I don’t care. I don’t have to like her and I don’t want to like her”
 
He sighed, crossing his arms. “What is this really about? Is it about Miss Potts?”
 
“Why would it be about Pepper?”

“Because you two were becoming close… And after that thing with your mother telling you that she can be a mother to you… It kinda seemed like you two were becoming closer… Almost like mother and daughter…”
 
“Well we weren’t” I snapped. “Can we stop talking about this?”
 
He nodded. “Yeah, do you want to go back to bouncing or do you want to do something else?”
 
Looking at him, I raised an eyebrow. “Peter Parker, are you suggesting we ditch the group? Because if so I am 100% in, let's do it!” I went to walk away but he grabbed my arm and laughed. 
 
He shook his head “No, that’s not what I’m suggesting. I’m suggesting that we ask Mr Stark if the two of us can go do something while they’re here bouncing. He will kill me if I just leave with you and not say anything”
 
“No, I think he’ll kill you because you’re dating me” 
 
“Excuse me what?” I heard Pepper’s voice say. 
 
We turned around and Pepper, Grace, and Joce were standing there, eyes wide, staring at us. 
 
“Um… April Fools?” I said hopefully. 
 
Pepper rolled her eyes. “It’s October, Jade”
 
I sighed. “Alright fine, but you cannot tell Tony cause I really like my boyfriend being alive”
 
“So you two are dating?” Joce asked, continuing when we nodded. “Since when?”

“Homecoming” Peter and I said in unison. 
 
“And you didn’t tell me?!”
 
I looked at her sympathetically “I’m sorry, we wanted to keep it a secret so that Tony didn’t kill Peter. I was going to tell you but I never got the chance…”
 
Joce crossed her arms, sighing. “Fine. You’re forgiven”
 
“Please don’t tell Tony…” I said, looking at the others. They all nodded and said that they wouldn’t, but Pepper said I had to tell him soon. They went back to bouncing but Peter and I chilled in the sitting area.

After a few hours of bouncing, we went to do all the other things Tony and Pepper had planned. At the arcade, Peter and I broke off from the group and went to do our own thing, which consisted only of me kicking Peter’s ass at games. 
 
Then, we went shopping and went home to get dressed and went to dinner. Natlie, Joce and I didn’t feel like wearing dresses so we went with jeans and a top.
 
“Can we call it a night or do I have to join in on the games and movies…” I asked Tony, making a puppy dog face. We had decided to do games and presents after dinner but I really didn’t want to deal with Grace any longer
 
He sighed. “Yes Jade. It’s your sister's birthday”
 
I rolled my eyes and pouted. “Whatever” After being forced to partake in the activities, I called it a night before I decked Grace. Laying down in bed, I put a pillow over my face and screamed into it. This fucking day… I cannot fucking stand Grace and her fucking bubbly, energetic, nauseating personality… I really don’t understand how we’re related… 
 
Sighing, I put my pillow back and laid down, trying to fall asleep with a massive headache…
