~I'm so sorry I haven't updated in forever. I have around 45 chapters of this story written and waiting to be published but I also have like 22 other fics that I'm writing. Since there are so many chapters that I have written I'm trying to figure out if I want to split it into two books or just keep going in this one. It would probably be well over 100 chapters. At where I'm at in the story now (well after this part) the kids might be going to college soon so I could pick up the second book there? I'm afraid that no one's going to read the second book because that's what happened the last time I did a sequel. What should I do?~

Jade quickly unlocked her phone and opened her Instagram messages.

AuroraLights: Hey! I'm Jocelyn, I would love to talk about the painting, it's one of my favorites. What questions did you have?

Jade smiled and quickly typed a message back.

AlwaysJaded: Thank you so much for taking the time to talk to me! One of my main questions was, where have you seen that cabin?

AuroraLights: I've never actually seen the place in real life, I saw it after having a near-death experience.

Jade's heart nearly stopped. Jocelyn had a near-death experience and saw this place too?!

AlwaysJaded: You wouldn't believe me if I told you, but I also had a near-death experience and saw the cabin. My deceased mother was there and she said that she's never seen that place in real life but she saw it in a dream when she was pregnant with me

AuroraLights: That's... Strange... Are you in New York? I'd love to meet up somewhere and talk about this in person

AlwaysJaded: I'm in Manhattan, near Stark Tower

AuroraLights: I live in Queens but I'm actually going to Manhattan tomorrow to visit some friends! Think we can meet up then?

AlwaysJaded: Yes! Whatever time and wherever is good for you, is good for me

AuroraLights: How about 3pm tomorrow? Your place of choice

AlwaysJaded: That sounds great! I'll send you the address of my favorite place

Jade sent Jocelyn the address of the diner, figuring that instead of sitting in one of the booths, they could sit in the comfy coffee house part of it

(There's like two parts to the diner, one is like a normal diner with booths and tables and the other is like a coffee house with comfy couches and chairs)

She quickly sent a text to Theo saying that she had a lead on the painting thing and that she has to meet up with someone tomorrow and she'll tell him everything after. Then Jade put her phone away and went to bed, but her mind was still racing.

~The Next Day ~ Gracie's POV~

"What do you want for breakfast Grace?" Pepper asked.

I shook my head. "Whatever is fine, I don't mind"

Pepper... Or Mom? Pepper smiled and went to make breakfast, I sat down at the island and rested my head on the countertop. Pepper and Tony had told me that I don't need to call them Mom and Dad, since my adoptive parents have been my mom and dad my whole life. I love my adoptive parents but I always felt weird my entire life, like I didn't belong with them, like I was switched at birth...
