"Thank you," you smiled.
"Please lower your ax from my neck, Astrid," you chuckled, stepping backwards until your back touched the wall. Glacier was getting in a fighting position, starting to growl at Astrid. You were pretty sure that she would've attacked Astrid the next second if Hiccup didn't step in first.
"Hey, give her a chance," Hiccup defended, pushing the ax away and stepping in front of you which calmed Glacier down a bit. Well, calmed her down enough to come and check on you although she was still glaring at Astrid from the corner of her eye. "She has never done anything to harm us so why shouldn't we trust her?"
Astrid lowered the ax, processing what Hiccup said as everyone was still looking at you. "You do have a point, Hiccup. Sorry, Y/n, I'm just really paranoid about the whole thing. After all, we trusted Heather and she betrayed us in the end."
"It's fine," you sighed, giving them the best smile you could muster. "I'll make sure to prove myself to you guys when I get the chance." You were serious about that. You wouldn't let your 'family' start ruining the sense of friendship you had grown to like. Especially after the dragon riders were willing to accept you despite everything that was going on with you.
