Lilith POV

Standing in front of the living room doors, i gained my composure. Or tried to. I was nervous for her. I hoped that everything will go smoothly. And Luci... i would have to tell him about the unexpected presence of a certain Overlord. I wonder if he would also join in to watch the live broadcast with me.

"Hello I'm Katie Killjoy -

"And I'm Tom Trech- .."

The tv blasted their voices in the living room; Luci was too focused on the screen to care about how relatively loud it was. I looked around for the remote but eventually gave up and sat next to him. He didn't even give me a side glance while I plopped down. Charlie replied to me within a couple of minutes, a simple thank you and i decided not to pressure her with more questions. She was already at a top tier level of stress with the crowd right outside.

I was a bit surprised to see him here. Too worried and stressed about her, to not notice me walking into the room. I softly smiled towards myself. Though he didn't support the idea, it didn't change the fact he still clearly loved her.

"How is she Lilith?" He asked while still in trance as he held his gaze on the tv.

"She's doing alright. She's told me about the changes of the hotel and ..." and a certain Overlord. ".. she's been great."

He smiled softly. "I'm glad she's good. She and I... well... we haven't been communicating for .. a while now." A while as in, since the day she left the palace to pursue her project.

"Well you weren't exactly supportive of her idea." I told him. I wasn't accusing him for his lack of support. He had his reasons why not to support it. The involvement of Heaven.

"I know but... a normal conversation between us wouldn't hurt." He sighed as he threw his hat below his feet.

"And we're here Live in front of the Hap-zbin Hotel. As part of my contract, I'm out here in the middle of this crowd that decided to gather for the opening night of the shitty hotel project of her highness the Princess of Hell." She mentioned as the camera focused on the building behind her which had gone through some small changes.

"Huh, so this is how Vox wanted to make it up. By sending his silly reporters, the same ones who taunted her." He stated while his eyes were still on the screen, and finally acknowledging me.

"He told you he was going to make it up?" Of course he would. None of those Overlords wanted to mess with either of us. As expected the wanted something in return. Typical of them.

"He called me the other day, not too long after Charlie's interview. Let's hope it goes better." He let out a long sigh as he rested his chin on his left hand. Charlie thought of him to be completely neglectful towards her project, but if she saw him now, his worried expression would give him away. "He could have had the decency to change the reporters."

So he had watched the whole fiasco. I could tell her that he did. "But maybe It's a way to humble them. Besides, Charlie can defend herself, she took her pen away last time."

"Who knows why they're here, because I don't imagine myself being here out of my own free will." The camera pointed all around as it scanned the area. Which was surprisingly full of demons. I turned to look at Luci, who now sat on the edge of his seat, his face filled with dread. He resumed his trance as he stared at the tv.

"Now, as everyone else watching this, I am certain that the only reason these demons are here is to see the living proof of the overlord, Alastor The Radio Demon, being an ally to this hotel. Hey... where the hell is that little clown demon from earlier? Someone go fetch him!"
