-Charlie POV
The others went back to their rooms, Al though, stuck out the longest and eventually slipped out of the room, without telling me anything. So it was just me, Vaggie and KeeKee at the end, alone with the ringing casino machines.
I supposed no one ran after Mimzy. And that made my guilt grow heavier on my shoulders.
"So what did I miss while I was gone luv?" She asked as she stroke KeeKee's coat.
"Nothing really. Mimzy confessed to Al about her feelings and he didn't reciprocate." I wasn't exactly lying, I was however, leaving out some major details. I would tell her, though not now as she had just come back.
"Love is hard to come by." She simply said. I suppose it did, here in Hell yes, as loyalty was looked down upon here because the norm of being in a loving relationship with your partner / partners, was seen as one being stupid.
"Yeah.. anyways, not to be rude but why is KeeKee 'awake'?" I pointed to her. I had gathered some memories of her which were hard to recollect. The only time I can link back to meeting her was when I saw her transforming into the key and Mom handing her over to me. Which was somewhat recent but I remember meeting her before.
"I actually don't know. She decided to awaken when I finished bribing that clown demon." KeeKee seemed to grow annoyed at being carried so Vaggie set her down on the floor and she strutted over to me, purring while she rubbed herself to my legs.
"I see. Well I'm glad you're here." I told her as I rubbed the top of her head. "You'll be a great addition for the hotel. Talking about new addition guess who was hiding themselves in the library?"
"Is it someone i know?" Vaggie asked curiously but also worried.
"Yes. Though you might not remember him because he literally decided to crash for a bit."
"That funny snake guy?" Vaggie stifled a short giggle.
"Yes! Me and Al heard him on our way back to the casino! Turns out he's been in hiding in the hotel since he literally crashed here, and had been roaming around undetected until today. Anyways we sort of gaslighted him into signing up for the hotel. But it's better him being a client than having to deal with his shenanigans."
"You did the right thing! I'm proud of you!" She gave me a soft smile. It was nice of her to agree with me, and actually mean it.
"Anyways, Mom should be calling me any minute now! I believe her concert ended a few hours ago, and she should be back home by now." I said as I pulled out my Hellphone and checked the time.
"Yeah! Are you going to tell them about everything?" She referred to my small outburst to the Overlords.
"I mean, the footage should already be up on the internet by now, so there's really nothing of me to hide from her."
"Yeah you're right! Come now, let's get you to your room. You must be exhausted." We headed outside, and shut the casino closed, just in case any client wanted to be nosy and sneak in there.
"I'm not as exhausted as I thought I would be." I admitted quietly to her as we headed for my room, KeeKee following close behind us. I wondered where she would stay, and of course she was invited to my room. "How about you? What did you think of tonight?" She hadn't really expressed her own opinion about tonight.
"I.. I-I actually enjoyed it. It was nice. Me and Angel made it work in the kitchen, and I was glad you established to everyone on tv that this was a serious matter. We will see tomorrow how it goes." I was happy she seemed to enjoy it, at least in her own way.
"Right. Me and Al already have a schedule planned out, we will discuss it before awaking the guests." I told her. Hoping she wouldn't ask if he had been up to anything mischievous.
