Charlie POV

As I got ready for bed and brushed my hair, hoping to get rid of my blonde knots I heard a soft knock outside my door.

I headed over and opened the door, revealing a very tired Angel Dust.

"Is something the matter?" I asked him as he ruffled his hair.

"Can I talk to you?" He asked as I nodded, confused by what he wanted to talk about. Not only that but he seemed serious rather than his silly self. I stepped aside and let him and closed the door behind him.

He sat in my vanity's stool but faced me instead rather than the mirror.

"How did you die?" He bluntly asked me as I held my brush to resume brushing it. Confused by the question I let out a small chuckle. "Angel, I was born as a demon, I was never a human, in fact I have never gone to the human realm." I told him, he was probably high or something to as me something he already knew. I would have to point out this reckless behavior of his later.

"Don't lie." He quickly replied. "I saw you, alive. We were both young and we went to parties... you even gave me an accordion.." He told me in disbelief as I stared at him, still confused from what he had just said.

"It was probably a human that resembled me." I answered in what I thought was logical. I did sort of resembled one, despite being a demon.

"No!" His eyebrows furrowed in frustration. "I know it's you who I met!" He kept speaking in gibberish, hoping to find connections.

"Angel, go get some sleep, it seems like you need it." I told him as I finished brushing my hair and set my brush down on my nightstand.

"ALASTOR!" He yelled out at me. An awkward silence filled in the room as he kept staring at me with disbelief.

"What about h-"

"You met him while we were at a party.. and I told you to go see him when I left New Orleans since he gave you this red laminated card with his info on it.. and you wrote me letters... you wrote letters of how you and him-" He spoke as he stared off into his own thoughts. He then turned to look at me hoping he could get the confirmation he needed that it all wasn't in his head.

The stare between us didn't last for long since the knock interrupted us.

"Hey hon, can I talk with you...."She told me until she noticed Angel who sat on my vanity stool.

"What in the bloody hell are you doing here?" She pointed towards him.

He rolled his eyes around. "Why are you so angry Toots, you know I am not attracted to females...unless you do pay more than what I charge." He mockingly grinned and stood up and left the room. Leaving me with a quite frustrated Vaggie.

"What is you want to talk about?" I asked her as her eyes trailed off afterwards Angel, making sure he left us with some privacy.

She then turned to look at me once reassured and held my hands with hers. "Why did you let him stay here?" She asked. At first I thought she was referring to Angel, but then I noticed how frustrated she seemed, more with herself.

"He is just staying here for one night, there is no harm in that." I reply.

"Don't you remember what he made you go through?" She asked. I then remembered the incident that happened in between us, all those years back.

"It was so long ago." I tell her as I pull back my arms from her. "I was immature, and besides, what have I told you? I am trying to find the best in people, and going against that, I am going against my beliefs." I remind her.
