-Vaggie POV
I sat at the end of the limousine, staring at the One who had summoned me. It had been a while since the both of us had met, then again this was a discrete matter to discuss, and I couldn't really raise suspicions of me.
"So.. how is she?" He questioned, his voice seemed to sound silky as his words escaped his mouth. He lurked in opposite end from me, lurking in the shadows. With his right hand he held the glass of wine, and swirled it to taste its bittersweet flavor.
"She is doing fine." I answer as I recollect my thoughts of the past few days. Truth be told, we did talk but she always seem distracted with the hotel and in under different circumstances I wouldn't be so petty about it, but rather, the fact she was spending that time with Him.
"Are you sure Vagatha? Have you followed the designated instructions I handed you of that medication?" He questions, obviously referring to the pills I gave her every night. He had probably seen my face of discomfort as I remembered, there was no use lying to him.
"Yes of course Sir." I answer.
"Good, I hope she has not raised any suspicion of this?" He questions trying to reassure his doubts.
"No worries Sir, I expected that outcome so I dissolve the medication into her last meal of the day." I respond back.
"Good, good Vagatha. We both know the risks, and dangers that can rise if she is not kept in control." He reminds me, hoping to remind me that our actions have a very reasonable purpose.
"Now, how has 'He', been? Any suspicious activities between them? Or by himself?" He questions once more.
"Uhm, not really Sir. However the two have obviously been spending a quite more bit of time together. You know, for 'business' reasons." I reply quite worried, and jealous from their time together.
"Pat attention to his moves, the most obvious move he would do, is to tear you two apart so that you can't be her voice of reason." He warns me as the lighting of the limousine darkens as it submerged in a road tunnel, the red lights peeking in through the windows. In between flashes I can see Him, concentrated fully in our conversation.
"Yes Sir, that's what i thought as well, which is why I try to limit their interactions and see her as much as I can." I reply, looking back at how the two vanished into their offices, and once I came to check on them, they both were in His office. Charlie's smile seemed genuine, and from my perspective it seemed like she had never shown me that smile.
The more I thought about it, the more it hurt. I was not going to lose her to that edge lord, to that egotistical and pathetic demon.
"Are you jealous dear Vagatha?" He asks, a bit of teasing could be heard in his voice as he addressed me. I become flustered as he took into account that detail. "No worries dear, as long as you give her that 'medication', your relationship has no risks in breaking up anytime soon." He reminds me.
"Yes but-"
"You have followed the instructions, right Vagatha?" He questions more sternly. The lighting no longer seemed to flicker by the colors.
"Yes Sir, but that's not -"
"Then you have nothing to worry about." He reaffirms as He takes a drink of red wine.
"Sir.. but what about Him. What if he is planning to try something?" I question, cautious, and aware of the effects if that were to happen.
"That's why you keep a close eye on Him. If he tries anything, all his effort will go to waste, since the medication has been proved to be somewhat invincible." He points out, not really worried about Him as a threat.
