The more I watched that clown reporter stir gossip in his questions, the more force I used to chop the banana, and the crack of the wooden board disrupted my trance from the T.V.

"Wow! Someone really wants to cut the dick of that clown." Angel snickered as he poured the chopped fruits in several bowls.

I rolled my eyes at his response, even though he was quite right that I was quite angry at that reporter for stirring unnecessary gossip. And I had been calling Charlie but it kept going straight to voicemail. I hope that Alastor better have had the decency to go where she was and help her. I hated to admit that his help would have been greatly appreciated. Besides he and I had the common goal of protecting her but for different reasons.

"I should go check on her." I said out loud, putting down the knife and started to go wash my hands.

"Don't worry Toots, Al is with her. He has things under control." He told me relaxingly as he resumed chopping up the banana I had left.

"Since when do you blindly trust Alastor?" I asked him, noticing how he had used a nickname for him.

"I don't. But I know that Princess can take care of herself, and he's there as just a security measure. Honestly you have nothing to get so worked over about."

I hated to admit he was right. I knew the some extent of Charlie's powers, so it really was foolish for me to stress over nothing. But then I remember her tender heart, and that just brings more worry. And I really should have gone with her instead of him.

"Unless if that clown is speaking facts then I suppose you have a right to be mad? I don't know."

The gossip that clown was trying to stir was futile. If Charlie's parents did hire someone else as a 'secret' bodyguard they would have informed me. And the last demon they would choose for protection would be Alastor. But the crowd was sure into buying into the idea that there were secret strings being pulled behind the scenes, which of course would turn out troublesome.

"They wouldn't. I am her ultimate protector." I told him as I tightened my apron and resumed going back to chopping the vegetables.

"I guess..." Angel responded unsurely, as if he didn't believe me but that was the least of my worries. I doubted he was behind my tracks, specially after that time he found those pills on my room. Besides I know if he ever did come to snitch on me i could tell Charlie he was under the influence of drugs, making him lose credibility.

"I, myself, plan to attend tonight's Hazbin Hotel re-opening. My ongoing curiosity of the Radio Demons whereabouts have certainly intrigued me." The clown demon expressed as he gathered his things and was leaving before Killjoy could formally end his segment of the news.

"I knew that Radio Demon would bring nothing but troubles." I murmured under my breath, and got out my phone, looking at the unanswered calls I had for Charlie.

"If you keep staring at your phone during work then we won't have time to finish do we? Ans trust me, there's a secret stash of drugs I have around here that I would love to snort the shit out of on right now because all your fidgeting around is getting on my fuckin nerves, which I don't need right now because Princess needs me to get the food ready and times passing by and I can't really do anything if your ass is here moping so get to work!" Angel exclaimed in front of my face as he took my phone from me and threw it out the kitchen, and onto outside the hallway, landing with a loud thud.
