-Charlie POV
It had been a while since both Vaggie and Al had left. Out of boredom and interest, I walked around the room, taking a peek at each guest hoping they were enjoying their stay. From overhearing the comments, most of them drunken, they seemed to enjoy themselves, which was a huge relief. And with the broadcasting, hopefully, it would persuade others to come, even though, the rehabilitation process had not yet started.
Angela had also slipped out of the room, leaving only me, Husk and Niffty; However, Husk was too busy handling the guests drinking requests, and as for Niffty, I had just seen her gidding up alongside Mimzy right below the stage. A group demons had gathered around them, showering Mimzy with appraisals for her beautiful performances. She of course, thanked them kindly, yet I could distinguish a bit of hurry and aggravation in her words.
After walking around I decided to plop myself down on the seat I was in, just in case Vaggie or Al came back. Husk's back was turned to me as he fixed up some drinks so I decided to watch him. He mixed the drinks up with ease, and even did a couple tricks like throwing the bottle and catching them perfectly. I could never, I was bit too clumsy for that.
"Bartender get me some moonshine, and on the rocks too. And you can order Tom here whatever wimpy drink there is for sissy guys like him." I turned to my right, looking over at Katie Killjoy who loudly made it clear she was now besides me and wanted everyone to know. What surprised was the fact she didn't have the camera on, probably cause Vox ordered her to stop the broadcast.
"Well, well, looks like the Princess here, has surely entertained all of us. First by her silly act with the Radio Demon, second, getting my boss mad, and third showing her jealousy over The Radio Demon singing with Mimzy." She commented as she raised a finger by each event she commented. The cameraman stood behind her and then also joined us in sitting at a nearby stool.
"I wasn't jealous." I simply responded in full honesty. There was no reason for me to be so, rather the bond between Al and Mimzy was intriguing to say the least. Specially cause of their past.
"Oh please, I captured your look of what is it, perhaps betrayal when The Radio Demon joins up with Mimzy. I can show you if you want." Truth be told, I guess I was acting a bit distant from him. The reason being I didn't want all of Hell suspecting there was something between us when there wasn't. And since everything was being broadcasted, I know more theories and conspiracies would soon be spread around.
"You're wasting your time with false accusations." I told her, turning away from her and looking over at the crowd. I could her groan as I did so, along with a gibberish.
"Please, there's no mistake you two don't have chemistry. And there's no denying that someone else might have the hots for him." She held my face by both my cheeks and turning toward Mimzy, who giggled so hard I could hear her over the crowd.
"Look whatever rumor you're trying to spread around itwon't work. As a matter of fact, I'm in a very loving relationship with my girlfriend, Vaggie." I told her with a huge grin, gleaming with a lot of pride.
She looked around, in a concerned manner. "Oh really? I don't see her. Does she go to another 'hotel'?" She mocked as Tom snickered behind her.
"Oh my , please, stop making me laugh I'm literally rolling around on the ground, unable to breathe by your amazing sense of humor. Say, you should try being a comedian, you'll be far more successful as whatever you're doing now is." She turned red at this, and took a quick swig of her drink. I smirked at her attempt to not make a scene.
Tom tried calming her down while he, himself, tried to suppress in his laughter. Killjoy grabbed him by the throat and threw him across the room; Her eyes turning into her demon form.
