-Angel Dust POV-
"C'Mon! C'Mon!" My impatience grew as I rapidly pressed the elevator button. If I was lucky, the elevator would get here and according to the schedule, Smiles would be here at any moment.
With my bottom right arm I held my hellphone which had the messages app opened. I looked down at the convo between me and Cherri. She told me she was running a bit late coming here. I told her she didn't have to come here for my sake, me and her could still hang out as usual but as stubborn as she was, she insisted to come here, not for her to get better but to make company for me. She said that since she was coming here she was going to bring a spare ration of drugs for the both of us to use tonight... and other nights, who knows how much she was getting.
I hadn't told her yet about Val, and I probably should've. Maybe she would get a bigger ration of drugs for me. And honestly, I could really use it, I felt like my whole head was spinning. This morning I was really determined to focus on my own redemption, and didn't give a single fuck if Val found out. But seeing him in person, within a couple of feet away from me, perhaps it was his great stature or how he reeked of power, but it was enough to recognize that through my own selfishness, I helped pose a threat to the hotel that Princess had worked on.
If my hunch was right, and Princess and Mortal Charlie were the same, I owed it to her. She offered me her friendship even if she doesn't remember it. Or maybe I was trying to reach out to a logical conclusion since I wanted to be portrayed as the savior since I'm helping avoid troubles with Val.
The elevator bell rang as it was now here, the doors slid opened and revealed Smiles, who was obviously confused.
"My effeminate fellow shouldnt you be down in the kitchen?" He asked, not stepping out of the elevator.
"Wow aren't you a sexist." I teased at him. His eyebrow twitched at this. He wasn't dealing with my humor more than usual. He simply let out a long sigh and guided me inside the elevator.
"Whats got you so worked up Strawberry Daddy? Is there anyway I can help relax you." I asked him with a wink as I leaned against the elevator frame so that the doors wouldn't close up. His eye twitched harder at the mention of the nickname. His shadow mocked laughed with me towards him as he nudged his shoulder.
"Get. In. The. Elevator." Every word getting louder and his voice pitch somewhat resembling growls with static.
"Can't do that." I crossed my lower arms. "I need ya help." With that, I risked my upper arms be cut off by him as I dragged him back to my room. He tensed up by the sudden physical touch. Running down the hallway while dragging him was a bit more harder than I thought. I slammed open the door, making Fat Nuggs jolt awake as he was confused by what was going on.
I let go of Smiles and went over to my vanity pulling out every single drawer for my make up, brushes, accessories and jewelry. I looked back at him who hadn't moved from where I left him. Visibly disturbed, his pupils somewhat shaking, and his shadow swirling around him with a worried expression.
"Don't. Ever. Do. That. Again." He growled at me.
Which reminded me of Toot's phone that I was holding. Not to give it back, but to look through it. I suppose me and Smiles had that in common, bored of the same routine we were seeking entertainment from this hotel, and I just simply found it in this love triangle.. no.. it wasn't actually a love triangle, it was more of a love angle? I didn't find chemistry behind Toots and Smiles. As far as I knew, they detested each other. Or.. God what if they had an enemies to lovers moment? Wouldn't the tables turn. Anyways I simply just tossed it into a nearby drawer, I'll probably look through it after dinner.
I heard a set of footstep's approaching rapidly down the hallway. Toot showed up, her figure visible as she stood in front of the door frame. Speaking of the nuisance herself. She really was shrouded in mystery. "What in the Heaven are you two doing? I can hear your loud asses doing ruckus up from down there. Do you want to destroy the hotel or some shit? Cause honestly, that's the last thing we need since we have those three freaking Overlord ticking time bombs. As if having one wasn't already hard to deal with." Clearly referring to Smiles, who was still in shock. It's funny cause he was very handsy with the dear Princess and not with anyone else.
