"... so far if I may be honest with you Miss Grant, our crew really doesn't have any leads as to how could have done this heinous crime." I heard the officer tell me as he went over his notes. I looked at him, vaguely. He didn't express any sort of sympathy when telling me this information. Not like I needed, but he could at least pretend to do so.

Of course he or the others wouldn't find anything.

"I'm sorry to say that we can't even find the weapon." He said he looked over at his crew members who all gave each other confused looks.

The sounds of photographs being taken, along with his analysis disrupted my thinking and I could feel the migraine grow more and more the sounds got louder. Whispers of the photographers were barely heard after each photo was taken and who knows what sort of nonsense they were talking about.

The photographs wouldn't unveil a secret that's for sure. Once yellow, the blood had tarnished into red, as they had come back as regular humans. I didn't want to go too much into depth about the actual science behind it. Not like I knew what happened to angels if they were harmed or killed.

"Though we were thinking that we will stay here all night. Do you have anywhere else to stay?"

"Sorry, what do you mean?" I looked at him confused. I didn't think they would take this approach. Rather I thought they would take me down to the station and perhaps question me about the evening's prior engagements.

"Well the weapon or any potential evidence should be lying around here at other parts of the mansion. I was hoping me and some of my men would be able to run the whole mansion in hopes to find something. Though it's quite big I'm sure we could find some trail of the killer. I was also wondering if you have any sort of list of the guests that you actually did invite. From then, we can create a web of all the guests that were in attendance," He stated, as a matter of fact. Of course, he was only doing his job.

Oh how wonderful.

"Well I don't have anywhere else to stay though if you want to do that, feel free to cover my room, my siblings' rooms, and at best four guest rooms as I have some guests over."

"Well I do understand where you're coming from but allowing you to do that might disrupt or tamper the evidence."

"Which is why I'm giving you plenty of time to look through those rooms so by the time you finish me and my guests will be able to slumber. Though I understand I might be coming off as demanding I'm not being so as I just need to be able to focus after all the events. I have not been able to properly grieve my siblings with whom I grew up with." I told him as I forced myself to tear up a little bit, adding to the effect.

"I'm sorry Miss Vagatha, I'll tell my men to head over there right now." He said as he walked away, I could feel he rolled his eyes at me.

I wiped off the tears that had already built up on my eyes and look at how the officers dispersed. No matter how much they tried to find something incriminating they wouldn't find it here.

"Miss Vagatha!" I heard Niffty amongst the photographers who were snapping photographs like crazy. Of their bodies. And of me. I brushed past them, as I could already imagine the headlines that would be printed boldly in tomorrow's newspapers'. Yet they didn't dare to talk to me, perhaps because they were still so entranced on the actual dead bodies. After all, how rare is it for one to stumble on them.

"Miss Vagatha, I'm so sorry!" Niffty said as she ran up to me, hugging me by both of my legs.

"It's alright small one, it wasn't your fault." I tell her as I ran my fingers through her hair, I looked up to see Anthony who was leaned against the wall, and Husker was still gone.
