10:00 a.m - Jace's best friend looked at the girl that had changed everything. High off cocaine and weed, he didn't know what the hell he was doing.

The girl that he felt had ruined his friendship, ruined everything that used to go good in his life.

"I hate you." He said to the brunette whose eyes were filled with sadness and fear. "Everything I fucked up can't be fixed because of you!"

Rebecca shook her head. She knew that she didn't do anything. She knew that Jace was going to pick Diana and then he was going to forgive Finn.

But little did she know, she was wrong. Jace had decided that he wanted Rebecca. Though, the two had fallen in love, admitted that love, they were both still confused, broken and weren't ready.

Jace had told the blonde that he loved Rebecca and only loved her. Diana understood and told him in plain words to go get her.

After hugging one last time and watching her leave for the airport, Jace texted the girl and began to make his way to the one place he hoped she would go. He wanted her back and he was going to show her that he did.

At the cliff, Finn held a gun to the young girl.

"Please Finn, don't do this." Rebecca pleaded.

"No! I'm going to do this because with you gone, I'll get my best friend back. I've known him since we were 3 years old! 21 years of friendship washed down the drain because of you!"

"You slept with his girlfriend. You cheated on your pregnant girlfriend. I didn't tell you to do those things. I wasn't there fucking whispering in your ear to do the things that you knew were going to fuck up your friendship." Rebecca sneered, getting tired of him putting everything on her.

Finn clicked the safety off the gun and aimed it at the brunette.

"Goodbye Rebecca." he whispered.

Shooting the gun, it hit her in her lower stomach.

Rebecca fell, looking at Finn in disbelief.

Finn stared at the fallen girl who now struggled to breathe. He didn't care. He had just killed off the problem.

Rebecca felt like she was going to die. The edges of vision began to blur, her breathing becoming shorter. She was devastated that she wasn't going to be able to tell Jace that she wanted him to be happy, that she was OK with him picking Diana.

She wanted to tell him everything that she couldn't say. That she would forever love him and that she would always be there for him. But she couldn't.

I love you Jace, she whispered to the wind. The brunette closed her eyes, knowing that it was the last time she would ever say those words.

Finn had left just a few minutes ago. Not caring about anything but getting more drugs.

I'm gonna sleep this off then call Jace when I wake up, Finn thought. Completly forgetting what he had just done.

Running out of his car, Jace made his way to the same exact cliff that he had met Rebecca on in the first place.

He knew that it wasn't their time, but he didn't care. He knew that she was still going to be up there. The dark blue box in his pocket growing heavier.

And just like when he came home to find Diana and Finn in bed together, he felt as if something was wrong.

As he walked closer to the cliff, he saw someone laying on the ground.

"Becks!" he shouted, thinking that she was just looking at the clouds. "Becks, I'm here!"

But once he got closer, he saw that she wasn't moving. She was barely breathing....and a large dark red stain was splashed across her blue shirt.

The girl that he loved had been shot and was barely breathing. Calling his partner and close friend, he held her close, feeling as though she was about to leave him any second.

Finn had driven back to his apartment just an hour and a half away and flopped down on the bed, not thinking about anything that he had done with his mind clouded.

Jace checked her pulse and knew that she didn't have that much longer. She was bleeding out slowly and would die if help didn't come soon.

The sound of sirens and people calling out to Jace caused him to jump slightly before turning his attention back to the brunette that laid in his arms.

"We're gonna take it from here, son." The paramedic said, putting his hand on the young man's shoulder. "We'll do everything we can for her."

Please don't leave me Becks. I need you.
