Finn's neighbor from childhood was found murdered two days later, another body was found that belonged to a complete stranger.

"He's accelerating." Kathryn said as she and Jace went over the recent bodies that had been found. Finn had completely lost his mind.

Five people missing, two of them coming up dead with no possible lead with who he's going after next; there was no telling what he could do. The stranger, an older gentleman in his late sixties had been mutilated just two days after Finn's neighbor and it began to worry Jace.

"He's coming to me. He's going to coming after people I know, have a place in my heart. Diana is the one he's in love with but Rebecca is the root of it all." Jace whispered as he reread the journal entires Finn had written just hours after meeting Rebecca for the first time. "But he doesn't want to get caught so he's playing a game. He's making it harder to find where he's going next."

He knew that Finn was going to come for someone that would kill Jace and he didn't want his old friend to be like that. He didn't remember Finn being so violent and heartless.

He murdered his parents with no mercy. He murdered a stranger for no reason. He was becoming more and more angry.

"How is she?" Kathryn asked. The question had been on her mind since Jace started becoming more involved. The relationship between her and her late sister wasn't the best due to the fact that Rebecca's mother, Jane hated Kathryn's ex-husband. She didn't have a chance to ever meet her nieces. She wanted to know how she was as a person and hopefully not like her.

"Kat, I don't trust him. He is a cheater and a liar." Jane told her younger sister. The young brunette didn't want to hear anything. She loved Derek. He was the love of her life. The one that made her feel whole. The one that made her smile.

"Jane, I love him and he loves m-" The younger sister began but was interrupted.

"Do not say that he loves you. Because he doesn't. He only cares about money and fucking other women while you're at work and in school." Jane sneered, the venom in her tone shocking Kathryn.

But she only thought about what Derek had told her the night before after their argument and fight.

"She's jealous of you and me. She's jealous of our relationship. She's jealous of you being with me." He had told her after slapping her five times and pushing her up against a wall.

"You're just made because you can't have him. You're mad because I'm getting the attention that you have always wanted." Kathryn said. Her sister was astonished that Derek had gotten her to believe that.

Jane and Kathryn had always gotten along so the words coming out of her sister's mouth, she knew weren't her own.

The older sister sighed and shook her head.

"I don't want him to hurt you anymore, Kathryn. I just want you to be safe Kit Kat." Jane spoke softly before leaving the room.

Little did Kathryn know, that was going to be the last time she spoke with her sister.

"She's the kindest person you've ever met. She's passionate about different things every day, she cares about people... there are too many things that make her perfect." Jace said, trailing off.

"Do you really love her?" Kathryn asked.

"I would die for her." The words were spoken with truth. If things didn't work out and Finn decided to take a shot, he would take that bullet for his daughter and Rebecca.
