She remembers when she came home from school one day, heartbroken. Her boyfriend of a couple months had been cheating on her with Reagan, her 'best friend' and her mom gave her a glass of wine and they talked about everything.

She never thought she'd get to see that face ever again yet, there she stood.

"Hi Rebel." The woman replied, her voice bringing tears to the brunette's eyes. The nickname from her childhood making her break down.

Before they could say anything more, the sound of a baby's soft cries came from the living room. Rebecca immediately left to grab her daughter. Once she cradled her into her chest, right above her heartbeat and everyone watched in awe as the baby girl instantly became silent and smiled.

"She's beautiful, Rebecca." Her mother said, snapping her out of her precious moment with her daughter.

"How are you alive? I want the truth. Don't spare me the fucking details. The past three and a half years have been traumatic for me and I won't hesitate to tell you to leave and never come back. Now talk." The brunette said, her back still to her mother but her stance had become protective and strong. She was tired of lies and bullshit.

"Someone was after your father and I from a long time ago before you and your siste were born... Faking our deaths were the only thing we could do to keep everyone safe." Her words hung in the air. "Your father, an undercover agent for the LAPD Narcotics unit, had accidentally blown his cover and a lot of dealers that he got close to, were threatening him and us. That day, we decided that we had to die." She said.

"What about Rosemarie? What about my little sister?!" Rebecca asked, giving her baby to Maddie and stepping closer to her mother.

Jace stared at Kathryn for the longest, confused and angry.

Finn wasn't the dominant one. Jacob was. Jacob wanted everyone to think that Finn was just some angry kid. But that wasn't it. Jacob had found out he was Jace's brother when he was seven and kept it a secret. He wanted to give Finn a bad name so when everything was said and done, when Finn was pushed away into the depths of his mind, he... Jacob could walk free.

"That sick fuck." William sneered. He wanted to believe that Jacob was the good one but he had enough played.

"This disease is dangerous and unpredictable. It's not excusing his behavior but we have to put into perspective that Finn wanted no part in this." Kathryn said, looking down and sighing deeply.

This case had taken a turn for the worst and it was about to get messy.

Rebecca was in shock. Her sixteen year old sister was involved. Everyone that she loved had lied to her. They had played her.

"Get out." She whispered before walking away with tears in her eyes. Nothing seemed real.

Did Kathryn know?

How could they just let her uncle do what he did to her? If they had been around, it means that they knew that she was getting abused.

She became angry and soon found herself not in her home and going to the FBI headquarters.

Jacob had been placed back in his cell and the others began to discuss how they were going, Rebecca walked in. Jace stood up and went to her but she locked eyes with her aunt.

"My family is alive. They faked their deaths for our safety. Ask me how I know, my mother is in my house right now." She said. Kathryn's eyes filled with different emotions.

Disbelief, shock, happiness and anger. Her sister, her niece and her brother-in-law were alive and they didn't even let her in on anything. She looked at Rebecca and saw the emotions in her eyes and the tears that began to fill them.

Wrapping her arms around the young brunette, she began to cry. Relief flooded through her knowing her older sister was alive and well but she couldn't help but feel angry at the fact that they let Rebecca go through everything that she did and they didn't do anything.

"I d-don't even k-know what t-to say to her." Rebecca sobbed into her aunt's shoulder. She couldn't believe her family was alive but they all deceived her.

They had their reasons. A voice in the back of her head. But she remembered the day of their funeral and it didn't make it worth it.

She looked around at everyone that cried and mourned over her family and it broke her heart even more.

It was pouring rain and everyone began talking about the lost members of the Abels family.

"I love Rosemarie. She was the best thing that ever happened to me and..." Tyler, her sister's boyfriend of a year, sobbed into his hands over the lose. "Now we can't walk across the stage together like we wanted. We can't travel to New Zealand and go to Hobbiton like she wanted to... I miss her and I don't even get to say goodbye or I love you one last time."

Rebecca went to the podium when it became too much for him and moved him back to his seat but he didn't let go of her. He loved Rebecca like a sister and he was just as sad for her if not more.

"I remember when my sister told me she was pregnant." Her uncle, Patrick said, tears in his eyes. "With Rebecca and she was so scared to tell her husband but he was so excited. I remember the day that Rosemarie was born in my house. I remembere when my sister got married. I remember the good things. The good memories. I'm heartbroken by this but I have to keep my sister's beautiful smiling face in my mind in order to get through this. She wouldn't want us to be saddened by this. None of them would. So remember the good." He said, wiping away tears as he went back to his seat.

As their coffins were lowered, Rebecca remembered her heart went with them. Her eyes could no longer hold in the tears and she broke.

There was something that wasn't right. Both Rebecca and Kathryn knew that as they broke apart.

Just as they both opened their mouths, an officer ran into the room, out of breath.

"The suspect... He's gone."
