Chapter 9

Bella

I kept working until lunch. I stood up. I walked out of my office. I walked toward the kitchen while looking down. It's my first day and I got so much work. I'm not going to complain though. A guy came from the side. I looked up at him. "Hey, you are the new girl here, right?" The guy asked. "Yes that's me, my name is Bella."
"Hey Bella, my name is Jack."
He smiled.
"Why did you walk while looking down at the floor?" "It looks like you're sad. Do you already hate the job?" He asked jokingly. We started to laugh
We came to the kitchen. "I have to go, see you," Jack said. I smiled at him. He walked away. I went to the coffee machine. The boss is leaning his back on the bench beside the coffee machine. I took a cup and put it under the machine.  Thank god they have black coffee. I clicked on it and waited for my cup to fill up with coffee. I can feel Alex looking at me. I looked up at him and smiled. He isn't smiling back. He has a straight face. He looked back at his coffee as he walked away. Does he ever smile?

I took a cup of coffee and sat beside my co-workers. "Hey, you are the new girl here, right?" One of them asked. "Yes, I'm Bella."
"I'm Kate."
I smiled. She smiled back. "And I'm Olivia and this is my brother Oliver," she said. "Hey, to you both," I said with a smile. They both smiled back. "How is it so far?" Kate asked.
"Great," I said. She nodded with a smile. The lunch break is over. "We should go back to work," Olivia said. I nodded as I stood up.
Everyone here is friendly and kind. I walked toward my office.
I opened the door and got in. I sat down on the chair. I saw a lot of dresses that are drawn, but not perfect so that means I have to draw them. "Wow, what a nice start," I said. I sighed. But who put them here? Probably Alex Belinskij.
