Chapter 50

Alex

"What the hell is going on?!" I asked shouting.
"You finally came, it felt forever," Arthur said. "Why have you tied her to the chair?" I asked angrily. Arthur smirked.
"You know this girl is the daughter of Edward," he said.
"Let her go, Arthur," I said. "Alex, what is going on?" Bella asked while looking at me. I just looked at her not saying something.
"Sorry, I didn't introduce myself," Arthur said. "I'm Arthur, Alex's father," Arthur said.
"And I killed your parents," Arthur said. Fuck, Bella is probably so shocked. She looked at him. "Let her go!" I shouted. "But I didn't see you, so I couldn't kill you that day," Arthur said. Bella's eyes filled with tears. "Leave her alone!" I shouted.
"Alex, shouldn't you think she should follow her parents?"
I looked at him angrily.
Tears streamed down Bella's cheek.
"There is something you should know Alex," Arthur said.
"I was the one who killed your mother, she didn't deserve to live, I didn't even like her," he said.
What the fuck is wrong with him? Why the hell did he kill his wife? My mom liked him and cared about him, that fucker. I'm going to fucking kill him.
I quickly shoot Arthur then Enzo. Bella jumped scared of the sound. I quickly ran to her. I untied her. She didn't say or do something.
She is shocked. "Bella, are you okay?" I asked. She didn't say anything. "Bella, I'm so sorry, I didn't know," I said. I can't tell her I know. Not now, maybe later. She kept crying.
I picked her up gently. She wrapped her arms around my neck. She placed her head on my chest while looking down. I walked down to my car. I put her on the seat. I quickly got inside the car. I drove to my house.

We arrived. I got out and opened the door for her. She got out. We walked inside while walking beside each other. We walked to my bedroom.
"Why did he do that?" She asked still crying. "It's because your father didn't pay back," I said. "I'm so sorry," I said. "Don't be, it's not your fault," she said. She went and sat on the bed. I went and sat beside her. I kissed her forehead.
"Don't you care that you just killed your father?" She asked. "No, he touched you and he killed my mother," I said while looking out the window.
She looked at me. "I'm so sorry for your mother," she said. She hugged me. I hugged her back. "I love you, Alex," she said. "I love you, darling," I said. I looked at her and wiped away her tears with my thumb. "Stop crying, I don't like to see you crying," I said. She nodded.
"Alex."
I looked at her.

"Why did you come to my apartment?"
"Did you know they were coming?"
"No, I didn't know."
"Then why did you come?"
"I wanted to check on you."
"Where were you?"
"I was in Italy, my angel."
She looked at me confusingly. "What?"
My eyes opened more. Fuck, I wasn't supposed to say that.
"Alex, what were you doing in Italy?"
"My angel, it's not important," I said as I stood up.
She stood up too.
"Alex."
I looked at her. "What were you doing?"
"I said—"
"Alex, don't lie."
I sighed. I hate that I am. "I had to meet someone."
"Who?"
"My enemy."
"Your enemy?"
"Mhm."
"Why?"
"Because he said he wanted to talk to me."
"What did he say?"
"That's not important."
"Alex."
She lowered her voice. I sighed. "He told me some information about your parents and dad," I said. "What did he say about my parents?"
"He said that..."
"What?"

"He told me that dad was the one who killed your parents."
Her eyes widened.
"Alex, you knew?"
"I knew the same day as you Bella."
"Why did you say you didn't know then?"
"Because a lot happened at once, I didn't want you to know more things at the same time," I said.
"But why did your dad come the same day you went to your enemy?"
"Dad, my enemy, and Enzo worked together behind my back and when I killed my enemy, Dad wanted to get revenge so he searched after you."
"You killed your enemy?"
"Yes."

"Alex, why do you kill people like it's a normal thing?"
"I'm not killing them like it's a normal thing, I freaking had to kill them."
"Had to?"
"Are you serious?"
"Bella, you blaming me?"
"If I didn't kill these people, you would have been gone from this world."
I lowered my voice. "Yeah and if you didn't kill people, they wouldn't have threatened you."
"Yes, they would."
"They fucking killed your parents!"
"And if I killed my enemy or not, they would still have come after you, you are the daughter of Edward!"
"Yeah, I get it, but stop killing people!"
"I don't want to be with someone who is a murder!"
My eyes opened more. Wait, what? She doesn't want to be with me? "What?"
"I'm supposed to feel safe with you Alex, but when you go and kill whoever you want, that wouldn't make me feel safe."
"Don't you feel safe with me?"
I walked closer.
"I do, but you have to stop killing people," she whispered looking down. I placed my hand on her chin. I made her look at me. "Bella, be honest, do you feel safe with me?"
"Yes, of course, I do, but I just don't want you to kill people," she said. I didn't say something.
"I will go get your stuff from your apartment, you're going to stay with me for a few days," I said.
