Chapter 17

Bella

"How was your first day, Bella?" He asked calmly.
"It was great."
"Good, did you get along with your co-workers?"
"Yes, they all are friendly," I said. He smirked. "That's good to hear."
"Was it a lot of work at the start?"
"No, no, it was fine."
"You sure, Bella?"
I looked up at him. I nodded with a smile.
"Great."
"Did you work as an assistant in another company before?"
"No, it's my first time working as an assistant," I said. "Mhm."
"The door opened," he said. I quickly looked toward it. Wow, I didn't realize that. He made me forget that we were in the elevator when he talked to me.
"Oh, I didn't realize that," I said. He smirked.
I slowly backed back. He looked at me. He let go of me. I got up. I quickly walked out of the elevator. He got up too and walked toward me. "Are you okay now?" He asked me. "Yes sir, I'm fine," I whispered while looking down.
"Thank you for the talk," I said with a smile as I looked up at him. He nodded. "I have to go, goodbye," I said.
I walked out. I got into the taxi. It drove me to my house. I arrived. I paid and got out. I got into the building. I walked upstairs to my apartment. I arrived.
I opened the door and went inside. I went straight to the couch and lay there. I sighed loudly. His heartbeat. The way he played with my hair. I loved it. "Bella, stop thinking about him," I said to myself as I stood up. I walked to my room. I changed into gray jogger shorts and a gray sweatshirt.
I went to the kitchen and made some popcorn. I took the cola out from the fridge. The popcorn was ready. I walked to the living room. I sat down on the couch. I started to watch my favorite series. It went sometimes. I should go to bed. I stood up. I heard the doorbell.

I walked to the door. I opened it. It's the girls. "Hey!" They all shouted. "Hey, girls," I said back with a smile. "Come in," I said as I went to the side. They all came in. We went and sat down. "So how was your first day at the job?" Alice asked curiously while she had Olivia on the phone.
"I was late, my boss got mad, I spelled coffee on my boss, I got stuck in the elevator with my boss, alone. So it was the best day ever," I said jokingly. "Bella, why did you take the elevator?" Clare asked worriedly. "You don't like it," Clare said. "You could take the stairs, don't take the elevator," Ava said. "Yes, we don't want something bad to happen to you," Alice said. "Never do that again," Olivia said. I'm so thankful for these girls, they are the cutest.
