Alex
"Were you always good at drawing?" She asked.
"Yes," I said. "What about you?"
"I was good, but I wanted to practice more," she said while she kept drawing.
"I see you practiced well," I said. She giggled. "Thank you," she said. "My mom used to always say that I was good at drawing, but then she left and no one said something like this to me anymore," I said.
"What do you mean she left?"
I looked at her. She looked at me too.
She didn't say something. She probably doesn't want to talk about it. I'm not going to force her.
"Alright, that's enough work for today, let's go home and rest," she said.
"Mhm," Bella said while she nodded. We both stood up. She started to pack her stuff. I stood there waiting for her. She was done packing. We walked out of the office. We went to the elevator. "Goodbye," I heard Bella say while walking toward the stairs. Right, she can't take the elevator. I'm going with her, I need to make sure she gets down safe.I followed her. She turned around and looked at me. She turned around again. She walked down the stairs. I followed her. She stopped and turned around. "Are you going to take the stairs?" She asked. I nodded. She smiled at me and turned around. She started to walk again.
We arrived. "Alright, now goodbye," I heard Bella say while looking at me. I nodded. We walked outside. I was about to walk away when I turned around and saw Bella just standing by the door outside. Is she waiting for a taxi? Isn't her taxi here yet? It's getting dark outside and it's also cold. I can't just leave her here. She is already looking at me. "Come, I can drive you home, it's cold outside," I said while turning around to walk. "No, it's okay, I can take a taxi," I heard Bella say. Just listen to me, Bella.
I turned around and looked at her. "I said come," I said. "Don't tell me what to do," she said back. She is so stubborn. I walked toward her. She started to walk backward. Her back hit the wall.I put my hands on the wall beside each side of her head so she can't go away. I looked at her angrily. I don't like it when someone doesn't listen to me for the first time. "I don't like to reply myself," I said angrily. Her lips are close to mine. "Fine, let's go," she said. Oh, so now she is the one who decides. I smirked. "I'm the one that ordered here, not you," I said. "I'm not an animal you can order around," she said back. That is not what I meant, I'm not standing here disrespecting her, I just want her to listen to me for the first time. I just looked at her with a straight face. I walked to my car.
My driver had to go home to his wife since she was sick. We got inside the car. I started to drive. It's silence. "Where do I drop you?" I asked. She said the address while looking out the window. I drove to where she lives. "Are you always that stubborn?"
She looked at me. I kept looking at the road. "Are you always that bossy?"
I looked at her. "Bella, you don't know me, you better watch your mouth," I said. She went quiet. I smirked as I looked at the road. We arrived. She took off the seatbelt. "Thank you," she said annoyed. She isn't looking at me. She quickly got out. She walked inside. Oh, so you are irritated now.I drove home. I arrived. I walked inside. Max came running. "Hey," I said to him while hugging him. My phone called. I looked at it. It's dad. My dad is a mafia boss, I'm a mafia boss too though. I answered the phone. "Alex, what are you doing now?" He asked. "Nothing," I said back. "I sent you some pictures of a guy. Can you see if you know him?" He asked. I walked to my computer. I looked at the picture my dad sent me. I don't know him. "No, I don't know him," I said. "Fine," he said. I hung up.
I walked to the kitchen and made some food. I heard my doorbell. I walked to the door. I opened it. It's Josh. Zayn jumped out of nowhere. Zayn is Josh's son. His mother died when he was a newborn. He was so young. Now he is two years old. Soon three. "Zayn," I said while picking him up with a straight face. "Hey Alex," Zayn said in a baby tone. "Hey," Josh said. "Hey, come in," I said. We went inside and sat down.
"How are you, Zayn?"
"Great," he said. I nodded. I looked at Josh. "I'm not going to ask," I said. He smirked. "I'm fine, no worries," he said. I smirked.
"Do you guys want drinks?"
"No, it's fine, Zayn wanted to come only to see Max."
I nodded. "But we should go now, it's starting to get late," Josh said. I nodded. We both stood up. "Zayn, let's go," Josh said as he picked Zayn up."See you, Zayn," I said as I waved to him. "Bye, Alex."
We walked to the door. "Bye," Josh said. "Bye."
I closed the door.
