Chapter 78

Alex

I arrived home. I got into the house. I put food for Max. "Max, come and eat!" I shouted. He ran toward me and started to eat. I took up my phone.
I grabbed my phone. Me: Pack your stuff, we are going on a trip, the plane is leaving at 7 tomorrow morning.
Bella: Where are we going and is it hot weather there?
Me: It's a surprise and yes it's hot there.
Bella: Alright.
Bella: I love you. Me: I love you, my angel.
I put my phone down again.
I got out of the car. I drove to a ring shop. I arrived. I got out and walked into the shop. "Hey, sir," a guy said. I looked at him and nodded. I walked around. "Sir, how can I help you?" The guy asked.
"Show me the most expensive rings you have here," I said. "Alright sir, follow me," he said. I followed him. He showed me a beautiful ring. "Sir, this is the most expensive ring we have in this store," he said. I study it. I liked it. It has a tiny diamond on the ring and the other one doesn't have a diamond on it.
"These two are together," he said.
"Alright, I will take these two," I said while looking at him.
"Alright, sir," he said while looking at me. He took it carefully. "Sir, do you want me to pack it or just take it like this?" He asked. I looked at him. "Pack it."
He nodded.
He packed it in a little box. "Alright, sir, that will be $80,000," he said.
I paid with my black credit card.
"Well, goodbye, have a nice day, sir," he said. "Thanks, you too."
I took the bag. I went back to my car. I drove to my company. I arrived. I went to the storage. I searched for the white dress Bella liked. It was so beautiful on her, plus she loved it. I took one. We have made a lot of these dresses that we will send to the stores so people can buy them, as the other dresses I designed. I walked to the car.

I put it in the back seat carefully. I started to drive home. I arrived. I got out of the car with the ring and the dress. I walked in. I put the ring on the table. I took the dress and put it in a big box. I packed it. I took the dress and the ring up to my room. I took my bag and started to pack some stuff. I was done. I took a bag and put both of the boxes in it.
I lay down on my bed. I got a message. I grabbed my phone.
Bella: How long are we going to stay there?
Me: We're coming back on Monday.
Bella: Alright. I placed my phone down. I fell asleep.
I woke up. I checked the time. It's 5:00. Today is Bella's birthday. March, 4. I went to my bathroom. I got myself ready.
I changed into a gym outfit. I went downstairs to my gym room. I worked out for some time.
I was done. I got back and took a shower. I changed into a dark blue suit.
I went downstairs with my bag and the bag that had Bella's presents. I placed them on the table. I grabbed my phone. Me: Josh, can you come and take Max?
Josh: Sure
I went and sat on the couch. Time went.
I heard the doorbell.
I walked to the door and opened it. It's Josh. "Hey," he said. "Hey," I said back. "Max, come!" I shouted. Max came running. I hugged Max. He went with Josh. I walked back to my living room.
I grabbed my phone.
Me: Are you ready?
Bella: Yes, I am.
Me: Alright, I will pick you up in five minutes.
Bella: Alright, I'm waiting.
I took everything with me. I put them all in the trunk. I got into the car. I drove to Bella's apartment. I arrived. I got out. I walked up to her apartment. I knocked on the door.
The door opened.
"Hey, Alex."
"Hey, my angel."
"Happy birthday, my angel."
"Thank you," she said happily. I kissed her on the lips. She kissed me back. We backed back. "Let's go," I said. "Alright, I will go get my bag."
She turned around and walked toward her bag. I walked fast toward her bag. I took it.
"You don't have to take it, my angel, I'm going to take it for you."
She smiled at me. "Thank you."
We walked out of her apartment and down to my car. We arrived. I put the bag in the trunk. We got into the car. I started to drive. "Oh, Alex I want to know where we are going," she said playfully. "You have to wait and see."
She giggled.
"Alex, can I connect my phone to the car through Bluetooth, so we can listen to music?" She asked. "Yes, my angel."
She connected her phone. She played music. 
"Who gon' pray for me?" She sang.
"Take my pain for me?"
"Save my soul for me?"
"'Cause I'm alone, you see."
"If I'm gon' die for you."
"If I'm gon' kill for you."
I saw from the corner of my eye that she was looking at me. "Why are you looking at me?"
"I was just thinking that this song could have been a good explanation of how you treat me."
"It is."
She is the one taking the pain and saving my soul for me.
She is the girl I would die and kill for.
"Mhm," she said.
I looked back at the road.
We arrived. She disconnected her phone from the car. We got out.
We walked into the plane. A guy took our bags. We went and sat down. "How long is the ride going to take?" She asked me while looking at me. "It will take some time," I said. "I'm excited to see where we end up."
I smirked.
The plane took off. Bella's phone rang. She picked it up. "Happy birthday, Bella!" The girls shouted. Bella giggled. "Thank you so much, guys," Bella said happily. "We love you so much, Bella," Ava said. "I love you so many guys," Bella said. "I hope you have a beautiful and fun day," Clare said. "Thank you," Bella said happily. "Enjoy your day and your trip," Alice said. "Thank you," Bella said while she giggled. "Yes, enjoy your time," another girl said. Who is she? I have never seen her talk to Bella. "Thank you, Olivia," Bella said. "We will celebrate when you come back, goodbye," Ava said. "Alright, girls, goodbye,"
Bella smiled at them as she hung up.
"Oh, I love these girls."
"Yeah, I see that," I said. "I'm glad I could also talk with Olivia," she said. "Who is Olivia?"
"My best friend, you haven't met her before, and that's because she is in London."
"Mhm."
"Have you talked with your friends lately?" She asked me.
