"Why are we going to the land of lost souls? That place creeps me out now!" Liz said. "What if Carter did some weird allusion to make us think he was dead and now he's really there planning revenge on us?"

"I just have this feeling that someone brought Maka there." I said. I never admitted this to anybody, but whenever Carter was alive, he reminded me of my twin brother. Nobody but my father and I knew about my twin brother, Joseph. We never really mentioned him due to the fact that he died after first grade in a car accident.

"Who's this 'J' guy anyways?" Patti asked.

"I don't know, but ever since I read that note I can't stop thinking about Carter and my brother...." I said, and realized too late that I mentioned having a brother.

"Since when do you have a brother?" Liz asked in surprise.

"I had a twin brother named Joseph when I was younger, but he died in a car accident just after first grade when my dad was picking him up from school." I replied.

"That's horrible!" Patti said. Even mentioning Joseph brought tears to my eyes. Although we fought non-stop back then, I never realized I loved him until he died. I never appreciated the way of life I had with a sibling until it was gone.

"For some reason Carter reminded me of him. I can't shake the feeling that Joseph and Carter might be the same person. I know it's crazy, but they seem so similar...." I said.

"Were you those kind of twins with that weird connection thingy where you can like, feel what the other is feeling?" Liz asked me.

"Yeah, except we also felt the exact same emotions when it came to certain things... Because of that I would find myself randomly thinking about girls I'd never met. I bet you can guess who both of our first crush's were." I said, smirking. I remembered when both Joseph and I had a crush on the same girl, due to the fact that our emotions weren't completely seperate. Just like Carter did, Joseph met Maka in the first grade.

"How the hell are either of us supposed to know who that was?!?"

"It's not that hard. I married her, after all." I said.

"Awwwwwwww you've loved Maka all those years?" Patty asked me.

"Actually, shortly after Joseph started to like girls, I could feel our emotions starting to become more independent. It made things a little harder after that because we couldn't understand how the other felt as well, so we fought a lot more often. Since I didn't even know Maka yet, I didn't really have feelings for her after my feelings became independent from Joseph's until I actually met her." I replied. "Even after he supposedly died, I never felt the link between the two of us completely go away. Its still faintly there, in the back of my mind."

"Are we almost there?" Liz asked. I looked straight ahead, and saw a small island and could sense so many souls in the distance, including Maka's and Carters.

"It's just up ahead."
