18:Maka's Mom

Omg my sister just asked what Eragon is..... I don't understand why we've watched that movie a billion times.

KIDS POV

I was walking towards the DWMA, not paying attention to where I was going, thinking about everything that Stein had just told me, when I accidentally bumped into someone, causing them to drop her bag and all its conttents started flooding out.

"I'm so sorry!" I said, helping her to pick up everything she had dropped. When I looked up, I saw an older woman, with long hair that was the same color as Maka's, with some greying hairs. Her eyes were also the same color as Maka's, and many of her facial features were just like Maka's in general.

"It's fine, Kid." she replied.

"Kami?" I said as we both stood up. (Idk what Maka's mom's name would be, but I heard there was some belief that it might be Kami, soo.... Yeah it's just gunna be Kami. And don't comment saying that name is from mistranslated Japanese. I know that.)

"Yeah... I guess it's been a while since you saw me." she stated.

"I think a while is a bit of an understatement." I chuckled. "What are you doing back in Death City?"

"I decided it was time to finally come back home." Kami replied. "Though it's not like I really have a house to go to. Nor do I know where Maka lives anymore, and I wanted to see her..."

"I can take you to where we live. It's actually on the way to where I'm going." I replied.

"Wait, did you just say we?" she asked.

"Yeah...." I replied. "Maka and I have been living together for 18 years now. I mean, it would be kind of weird for two married people to not live together."

"You two are married?" she asked, blinking in surprise.

"Is it really that surprising?" I asked.

"Well, last I heard she completely hated you, and you ran away." she stated. (I'm going to make a whole different story about that)

"That was a long, long time ago. Things have changed." I stated.

"Why did you come back in the first place?" she asked.

"Not too long after you got dovorced with Spirit and left, he found me on the streets." I explained. "He dragged me back here with my weapons. I didn't even try and talk to Maka until a year later."

"Why not?" she asked me.

"I didn't think she would want to talk to me after I just left." I stated. "I mean, after that, I kind of figured she would hate me and every fiber of my existence. Of course, once she realized I was back in Death City she came and talked to me, without all of our friends there." We stepped in front of our house, and when I did, I immediately realized Mikey and Ray weren't there. "Weird... Mikey and Ray were supposed to be here an hour ago."

"Maybe Sierra rekidnapped them." Kami stated. I looked at her and just blinked.

"H-How did you know about that?" I asked. She looked at me, and her eyes were suddenly purple, just like Spirit's had been earlier.

"She has Soul, too." she said monotonously, giving me a creepy stare.

"Wh-what?" I stumbled backwards a bit, almost tripping on a rock.

"She's getting all the weapons."

"What the hell do you mean?!?" I said, almost yelling."

"I'd warn your friends if you want them to live." she said, and ran off.

"What the hell just happened?" I asked myself, and realized I needed to get to the DWMA, now.

***time skip***

I ran into the death room, seeing a mess, as if there was a fight here, and nobody was in here. As I walked farther into the room, I saw small droplets of blood leading towards the door. When I reached the platform, I saw a puddle of still drying blood.

"Dammit they really did take them!" I yelled, running up to the mirror. I immediately contacted Liz, Patty, and Tsubaki, trying to reach them before anything could happen to them, just in case it was true that she was getting the weapons.

Then came the conversation about this all with Maka. I really didn't feel like it, but I also knew she would be pissed if I didn't tell her about it and she found out that I didn't say anything.

"Hey Kid, what's up?" Maka asked me.

"Uhh... Well..." I tried to explain what happened this morning. How Stein told me about what Sierra really was, how Stein had explained to me after he finished explaining about Sierra that Spirit actually had a heart attack and barely survived it, how I ran into her mother, but she was under the control of Sierra. "Earlier, Spirit came here and...."

"Why would I-"

"Can you let me explain?" I asked. "I know you never really cared about him, but it's a long story that involves him, so..."

"Okay." Maka said.

"He started saying something about my mother controlling him, and-"

"I thought your mother was dead..." Maka said.

"Yeah, so did I, so I thought he was just going crazy or trying to prank me. When he got closer I saw his eyes were purple, and he collapsed. I took him to Stein and Stein explained what he was talking about, and a bit more." I hesitated to say anything about Sierra.

"And...?" Maka asked.

"I'll tell you what Stein told me later, but, on my way back to the DWMA, I kind of ran into your mom...." I said, still a bit hesitant. "She was looking for you, but sometime in our conversation we passed by our house, and I mentioned that Ray and Mikey were supposed to be there and they weren't. Then she said maybe Sierra kidnapped them again, and when I saw her eyes, they were purple, just like your dad's had been. She also said that Sierra had Soul and she was going to try and take all the weapons."

"Why does she want all the weapons?" Maka asked me. I thought back to when I was leaving Steins house.

He stopped me just as I was reaching for the door knob.

"Kid, wait. There's one more thing I think you need to know." Stein said. I turned around and looked him in the eye.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It's about Sierra. She consumes weapons soul's to learn to take that weapon form." Stein said, and it occured to me that all of the kids were at least part weapon.

"Wait..... That's why she kidnapped the kids! She's going to-" I started.

"You should probably get back to the DWMA. You've been gone long enough." Stein said.

"I guess I should...." I said.

"She's going to try and kill them and eat their souls to learn how to turn into their weapon forms. I think it might also do it to the kids." I replied to Maka. "Hell, she may have killed Soul already, considering the huge puddle of blood in the middle of the death room." I sighed. I was starting to get worried about Soul. It's not like he didn't know how to contact me.

"I don't think he's dead. He just put up one hell of a fight." Maka said. "We have to find them before anything happens!"

"I already have a plan. Everyone is going to meet up in front of the DWMA in half an hour." I stated.

"Okay, I'll be there."
