"I never thought I would be teaming up with you of all people." I said, "I mean just considering what Joseph did while impersonating you. I would have never imagined you and I could even be on the same side of a fight."

"Well, honestly before Payton captured me I would have sided with her...." Carter said, looking downward. "I honestly thought that when she said how she felt that she was telling the truth...."

"Wait, were you two a couple or something?" I asked him.

"Yeah. We were about 16 when we got together and not even two weeks later I totally just blacked out and now here I am. I don't even know what day it is, or the year or anything really."

"Well, if your around the same age as Payton, I guess that means your also around the same age as me, but not biologically since whatever she used to capture you stopped your aging while she had you. Anyway, if you were captured around the age of sixteen, that means she captured you around 20 years ago." I said. "Which means she probably only did it because she thought you wouldn't want to participate in killing my friends and stuff, considering thats within a year of when all the Joseph crap happened with him disguising himself as you and stuff."

"Well, she was right about the fact that I wouldn't participate in killing anyone really." Carter said. "I may have been practically raised by witches but that doesn't mean I want to act like some of them. Yet, the only witch I thought had good morals was Payton, but apparently she really fooled me."

"So I have a question for you real quick. When you were around Joseph and Payton, did they ever mention anything about being related?" I asked. "I mean, I don't think I believe her when she said she was my twin."

"They always told me that they were fraternal twins." Carter said. "Sierra always said that, too."

"Why do I have to be related to the two most fucked up witches I've ever met?" I asked myself.

"Because one's your mom and the other you shared the womb with for nine months." Carter said blandly.

"It was a rhetorical question, Carter." I said. "I can understand that their my mom and my twin sister!"

"No need to yell." Carter chuckled. "So how exactly are we going to get back at Payton?"

"You're a weapon, right?" I asked him.

"Yeah." He replied.

"Okay, then, I can fight with you if we match our soul wavelengths, which shouldn't be too hard." I said. "Though, that really only solves the problem of me having a weapon.

******

I had matched up to Carter's soul wavelength, and he turned into his weapon form. He was a large, perfectly symmetrical sword, like Excalibur, but definitely less annoying. His weapon form seemed to be perfect. To me, he was light enough for me to easily carry, but I could also tell that he was a heavy and sharp enough sword to cut through practically anything. Now, I just needed to figure out how the hell to fight with a sword, before we even did any planning.

So sorry for the short chapter, guys. I've kind of been more focused on my beach house sequel, since it's going to be a lot shorter than this one (it might be 10 chapters max unless I add in a bit of fluff). If you want to go check it out, the first one is "Kid's Beach House (Kid x Soul)" and the next one is "Finding the Way Home." Please don't hate me for the ending of the first one until you read a few chapters into the other one, if you even read it. For all I know all of you are hard core Kid x Maka shippers and refuse to read any other ships that involve either of them, or you could just be reading for the plot of my fanfictions. Please at least go check them out, if you don't mind yaoi.
