Hey sorry for any confusion with publishing this several times. I wanted to write the next chapter on my phone at school, but it came up with  a draft that I had completely deleted, and when I tried to get out of that, it saved and published that old draft that hadn't even gotten very far, then I tried to rewrite this on my phone, then when I got home and onto a computer I found a way to restore the original chapter, so here it is :)

Maka and I walked into the front door, to see Payton sitting in the living room (She was never killed, Gerard only hit her in the head with a frying pan so she temporarily passed out).

"What the hell are you doing here?" I yelled at her. "Get out of my house before I have to-"

"What?" Payton said. "Kill your twin sister?"

"What are you talking about?" I asked?"

"I'm saying you and I are fraternal twins. Nobody lied to you when they said you had a twin. You just thought of the wrong person." Payton said.

"That makes no sense. And considering you helped kidnap my kids, I don't care if your telling the truth here or not. I'll get rid of you!" I yelled at her.

"Oh I wouldn't do that if I were you." Payton said.

"Why shouldn't I?"

"Let's just say I hold something precious to both you and Maka. You didn't really think Kami left that note there, did you?" Payton said. "You should know better than anyone she wouldn't force Maka to go anywhere, and especially not do this to her. Hell, she wasn't even here in the first place. But if you kill me now, Maka will never get her memories back, and you'll never see some of the people you care about ever again."

"What the hell are you talking about?" I yelled.

She chuckled, and a row of illusionary people were lined up. The first one there was Soul, Ray, then Liz and Patty, Black Star, Tsubaki, Frank, Crona, Spirit, Cami, my father, and for some odd reason........

.......Carter.......

"I thought Carter wasn't a real person..." I thought out loud.

"Of course he's a real person." Payton said. "I can't use disguise magic without a real person to disguise someone as."

"Okay, but I thought this line was supposed to be only people we cared about. Why would I care about Carter?" I said. "and all these are illusionary. How do I know you really have all of them?"

"I can only project people who I have captured. Like how I imitated Kami, I wouldn't have been able to do that if I hadn't captured her first." Payton said. "Whenever someone gets captured by me, their souls are connected to mine until they are set free by me. Because of that, if I die, they die."

"What if their immortal?" I said. I knew about half the people in that lineup were immortal.

"It doesn't matter. It's the same with everyone I have captured. Their souls are captured in seperate orbs that can't be opened without my power. If they break, the soul in there dies." Payton explained.

"But since your souls are connected to yours, wouldn't you die if one of them broke too?" I asked.

"No. That's a one way connection." Payton said. "Anyways," the line up of illusions vanished. "If you don't believe me, I could show you that if I set one free they disappear from the line up.
