Omg you guys thanks so much for 1K reads! I walked into drivers ed with like 970ish reads and then I got out and checked it and saw it was at 1K! You guys are really the best!
"Uh, Liz, where the heck is Patty?" I asked when everyone was at the steps of the DWMA, except Patty and Soul, of course.
"I don't know. She was supposed to be coming over around the time that you and I were talking, but never showed up. I left a note, just in case." Liz said, not even looking me in the eye.
"Liz, don't worry. We'll get Soul and Ray back, and Patty too, if she was taken." I said. "We just need to find them, go in there, kick Sierra's ass, and then we have everyone back!"
"How exactly are we finding them?" Crona asked. Part of me was still surprised he had stopped stuttering, even though it stopped years ago.
"This may seem pretty mean to Liz and Tsubaki here, but they're practically bait. Sierra is going to come for you guys and when she takes you, we'll all follow." I explained.
"I do not want to leave a huge puddle of blood!" Tsubaki said.
"So don't put up a fight. Pretend to be too scared to fight her." I said.
"You know how bad I am at acting, Kid!" Liz yelled.
"I also know how you get when your scared." I said. "Which you probably should be scared of Sierra, considering she specifically eats weapon souls so she can learn how to turn into that kind of weapon."
"She what?!?" Liz yelled. "I am so out of this plan!"
"So, you don't want to help save Soul and Ray?" I said.
"You know, sometimes I really hate you." Liz stated.
"I know." I smirked.
"Well, if you think I'm going to let Tsubaki be used as bait, your dead wrong." Black Star yelled.
"I'm sorry, Black Star, but do you have a better idea?" I asked. "It's not like we have much time to do anything else."
"Knock down every door in Death City until we-" Black Star started.
"Yeah, we don't have time for that Black Star." Maka stated. "She already has Soul, and possibly Patty."
"And don't think I don't feel bad about the fact that I can't think of anything else but using people as bait." I said. "Liz, Tsubaki, you two stay over here while the rest of us go hide."
"Why are we going to-" Black Star started.
"There's no way anyone would try to take them with their meisters around." I interrupted. "Or really any meisters, for that matter."
Time skip
In the end, my plan had worked out perfectly. Black Star, Maka, Crona and I were all standing behind a small house just outside Death City.
"Why don't we just break in?" Black Star raised his voice, and Maka put her hand over his mouth.
"Shut up! None of us but Crona has a weapon right now! We're going to find out what room they're in and get into the house while attracting the least amount of attention possible. Once we have Soul, Liz, Patty, and Tsubaki, go crazy all you want. But for now, keep it down!" Maka said.
I looked through a window to see Gerard (well, I assumed it would be Gerard since he looked around 16 and had 3 white stripes on his head, and looked like a mixture between Maka and I) tied up and unconscious.
"Gerard's in there." I pointed out.
"How the hell are we getting in?" Black Star asked.
"I think your forgetting exactly what a shinigami is capable of, Black Star." I stated. I took a closer look at the window, though and realized it was unlocked. "And also, the window isn't locked shut."
"It's probably a trap." Crona plinted out.
"I know. You guys go and look for everyone else. I'm going in here." I said.
"Kid, are you really going to walk into a trap?" Maka asked me
"We don't know for sure that its a trap, and what if we don't and they just kill him?" I asked. "I'm going to be fine, I promise. When worst comes to worst, I have my shinigami powers to help me defend myself."
"Be careful, Kid." Maka told me.
"You too, Maka." I replied, and hugged her. "I love you."
"I love you too."
Slight time skip (just a few min)
I just finished untying Gerard, who was still unconscious, when the door burst open. I looked overto see Sierra with her hand as a blade, held at Joseph's neck, but Joseph didn't have purple eyes anymore. They were gold, just like mine.
"You never seem to stop making me hate you more." I commented.
"You act like that would affect me." Sierra shrugged my comment off. "I happened to overhear your little conversation with Stein, so I assume you know what happens if I kill Joseph."
"How did you overhear that?" I arched an eyebrow.
"I have my ways." Sierra smirked.
"And I thought my dad was cocky." I mumbled.
"Watch it, Kid. I can easily just slit Joseph's throat right now." Sierra growled.
"Neither of us could know what happens when you do that. I'm the only person who's ever survived having their soul split in half." I stated. "I know the spell is meant to make an instant kill, not another person."
"You're right, it is. How did you know that? I know Stein didn't explain that to you." Sierra asked.
"I have my ways." I smirked.
Then she cut Joseph, and I blacked out.
