15:Searching for Answers

There's going to be a HUGE time skip in the chapter..... Just saying... And I'm not just talking about the first.

NINE MONTHS LATER!!!!!!!!!

Maka and I were asleep in the room next to our baby boy Gerard's room (yes, he's named after the lead singer of MCR.) when we were both woken up by him starting to cry, a bit more violently than what he usually sounded like when he was crying. Maka and I ran towards his room, but by the time we had opened our door the crying was getting quieter. We opened the door to Gerards room, but all that was there was his empty crib and an open window.

I ran to the window, trying to see Gerard's soul, but I couldn't sense it. I started to panic, wandering what the hell happened. I mean, a baby doesn't just disappear.

A witch probably took him.... I thought. It would explain why I can't find his soul. She could have put a spell to hide his soul on him.

Tears welled up in my eyes.

Please tell me this isn't real.... I started thinking over and over as I tried not to let the tears leave my eyes. I didn't want to believe it at all. The damn first night we bring him home and he gets kidnapped.

I fell onto my knees, giving up on trying to stop the tears. Maka was next to me, so I pulled her into a hug. We lay like that for the rest of the night, not even noticing as the time passed by.

SUMMARY OF THE NEXT SIXTEEN YEARS

Each day that had passed by, we lost more and more hope to find Gerard. Maka and I had another child named Mikey (can you tell I love MCR?), but he was also kidnapped on the first night we brought him home with us, just like Gerard had been kidnapped. I had taken over the DWMA as the principle. About a year after Mikey was kidnapped, Joseph and I got in a fight and stopped talking. Nobody has heard from him since.

Liz and Soul had a small wedding two months after they told us they were engaged. They had a kid born just three months after Gerard and named him Ray. (seriously I'm making their kids MCR members..... I seriously hope that the rumors of them getting back together are true :D)

Black Star and Tsubaki were engaged about a year after they came out about being together, then they got married another year after that. A year after we had Mikey, they had a kid named Frank. (:3)

Crona and Patty are still both single, though it was obvious sometimes that they liked each other (I honestly don't ship them, buuuuut they're the only two left that are still single, and I don't want them to be alone, sooooooooo yeah)

Every single one of them was kidnapped the first night they were brought home. Every time, nobody could sense their soul. It really scared all of us, thinking that our kids were probably all dead.

Until one day there was a knock on my front door.

End of summary, it's sixteen years after Gerard was kidnapped.

I heard a knock on the door. It was a Saturday afternoon in the middle of October. I was laying on the bed, facing the fact that I just had to get up already, after trying so hard to get back to sleep for hours.

Maka had been out with Liz, Patty and Tsubaki the night before, and I had been out with Soul, Black Star and Crona. The girls all decided to stay the night together, while the guys all decided to just go home around one in the morning. I crashed when I hit the bed, but I woke up around 6 put of habit, and ever since I was trying to get back to sleep.

I got up to get the door, and I realized that there were two people there, and their souls seemed a bit familiar. Not like a soul I would immediately recognize, like someone who went to the DWMA or anything. It felt like I had seen this soul before, but only a few times, a long time ago.
