(A/N: These next two chapters are gonna be pretty long. So enjoy.)

Time skip to the 1st of September

When the long awaiting day arrived, to say that Magnolia Potter was excited would be an understatement. She was super excited. And she was hyper.

Magnolia couldn't wait to get onto the train and meet new friends and see Hogwarts for the very first time in person. Sure, she's seen it in books, but she knew it'd be a better sight in real life.

Not even her wretched Uncle Vernon could bring her excitement down. Which said a lot since she was back to living at 4 Privet Drive. Her Aunt Petunia forgave her husband when he had given her a big bouquet of her favourite flowers, a box of chocolates and a promise that he'd never lay a hand on her again. He only added the promise of not hurting Dudley and Magnolia when the redheaded girl had threatened to stab his eyes out with her new wand.

And of course, Petunia believed him. She loved him too much and knew Dudley could protect himself as he still had the pocket knife that Magnolia had given him on his birthday. And she knew that Vernon wouldn't dare lay a hand on Magnolia ever again, he was utterly scared of her.

Which is why she no longer had to stay in the cupboard under the stairs. With much persuasion (*ahem* threatening), Vernon was forced to let her have the bedroom next to Dudley's, per Dudley's request.

And whilst she had moved into a new room, she non-stopped reading all the books she had gotten at Diagon Alley. She wanted to know everything about the new place she'd be residing in and taught in. Not to forget all the subjects she'd be learning as well.

So when Magnolia Potter walked alongside the half-giant, Hagrid, and her aunt and cousin, the excitement in her body just kept increasing the more she got closer to the platform where Platform 9¾ was waiting for her and all the other witches and wizards that'd be attending Hogwarts.

She and Dudley giggled at Hagrid as he grumbled whenever he passed someone who was blatantly staring at him. Yes, he was used to it. But it was still very annoying.

"What're you lookin' at?"

As Magnolia was now focusing on pushing her trolley that had her trunks and Hedwig on it, she nearly rammed into someone's ankle as Hagrid exclaimed.

"Blimey! Is that the time?"

She stopped pushing the trolley and turned to Hagrid, who had looked away from his pocketwatch and was now looking at her.

"Sorry, Magnolia. I'm gonna have to leave you. Dumbledore'll be wanting to see me before everyone arrives. Now, uh, your train leaves in 10 minutes. Here's your ticket. Stick to it, Magnolia. That's very important. Stick to your ticket."

Magnolia nodded and looked down at the piece of paper he had given her when he was talking, with a smile. Ignoring the conversation between Hagrid and Petunia as he asked if she and Dudley would be fine making their way back home later. To which Petunia nodded and muttered that Vernon was (impatiently) waiting in the car that was parked in the car park. He hummed in response and Magnolia looked up to thank him for taking her to Diagon Alley and such and to say goodbye when she noticed he wasn't there. She blinked and sighed.

"I didn't even get to say goodbye."

Petunia smiled a little and reassured her lightly.

"You'll be seeing him later on anyway. Come on, you'll be late for your train."

Magnolia sighed again, but started pushing her trolley again with her aunt and cousin following beside her.

"So, I read that Platfrom 9¾ is between Platform 9 and 10. Which makes sense. But where is Platform 9 and 10?"
