"There is something good in all seeming failures. You are not to see that now. Time will reveal it. Be patient." Swami Sivananda

Okay, so you want to know something really creepy? When you open your eyes and you can see after being blind for as long as you can remember. Something even worse? When you wake up underwater! Oh yeah, I was freaked out too. I'm not a very good swimmer and I haven't actually set foot in any water except for the sudsy water that fills my bath tub from time to time - me being a shower person and all.

In my state of panic I didn't notice that Loki was watching me with amusement. When I actually noticed him, I sort of froze and we had a stare-off.

"Done with your little panic attack Svala?" I growled as bubbles left my mouth. He smiled in a way that seemed familiar to me but I quickly shook my head. "You can talk you know." I opened my mouth to tell him that I would swallow sea water only to realize that when I opened my mouth, no water entered.

"1. How many times do I have to say that it's Andrea? Not Svala! And 2. Why am I not drowning right now?" He went to open his mouth as I quickly added. "If you say willpower I will kill you." He shut his mouth and I smirked triumphantly.

"You aren't drowning because I won't allow it. We are underwater because it is one place we are safe to speak openly."

"Look as much as I love our little chats, I have someone to deliver safely to Fury."

"You don't have much time. You will face troubles only one particular part of you will understand. I'm doing what I can to help, but I never counted on you being so stubborn."

"If that was supposed to hurt, you're going about it all wrong."

"It is not my intention to hurt you Svala." I roll my eyes as he once again doesn't call me by my first name.

"Can I go now?" I heard him sigh before he swam at me and lifted me above the water. Wait, what? When we break surface I cough and splutter helplessly. "You're really here. I'm not dreaming this time."

"Give the girl a prize." He answers calmly with a roll of his eyes. "I am very real this time." I blink and rub my eyes waiting for that pending darkness that seems to always follow one of my dreaming sessions with him. "You aren't dreaming this time."

"You can put me down then." He had me held against him, bridal-style which I really hated. He gently puts me on my own two feet. "Why are you here?" I hiss. "They will find you." He chuckles and shakes his head like what I was saying was childish nonsense... Actually when you think about it, it sorta is... I'm not 18 yet therefore still a child... Not that I like being reminded of that.

I take a few steps away from him and look him over. He still had the shoulder length black hair and his green eyes shone with something that I vaguely recognize as mischief. "They will find you. Not me. You are the only one able to see me."

"Okay so invisible to all but me, fanfuckintastic. Now they'll think I'm mental! Wait a minute... How did I get into the water? Did you kidnap me?!" He actually looked guilty when I accused him of kidnapping me.

"Possibly."

"Possibly... Possibly?! You took me from the home of the person I am supposed to protect just so you could talk to me? And we didn't even talk about anything useful!"

"There was at least one useful bit."

"Oh please, I hardly ever understand anything you ever talk about. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go back." I crossed my arms across my chest.

"Very well." He walked past me and when I didn't follow, he turned around, walking backwards and raised an eyebrow. "Are you coming or not?"

"What you're coming along?"
