"One of the most beautiful qualities of true friendship is to understand and to be understood." Lucius Annaeus Seneca

I was in a mild state of shock as I looked at the woman in front of me. I had jumped Universes... again. I huff out in frustration before storming out of the station, hearing Becca yell after me. "Hey. You do know that you can't just storm off like that right? I've had to sign a waiver to say that I'll make sure you stay out of trouble and between you and me, having to deal with the entire Avengers team and a few... added people, I'm doing you a huge favor." I look at Becca.

"And I've managed to jump from my Universe into yours. I want to go back home Becca but I don't see that happening when I don't even know what triggers these freaking jumps or how to make them stop! I fell asleep next to Rex and then I woke up on a bloody park bench! Excuse me if I'm just a little peeved at that prospect." I stop and lean against the building we were in front of. "So much has happened in the past weeks in my Universe Becca and it's stressing me out! I'm not even blind anymore!"

"I gathered as much when you were gaping at me back there. So what? You can see. Count it as a blessing because once you see my lot you'll wish you were still blind kiddo."

"You don't understand..."

"Of course I don't. You haven't actually explained anything to me."

"Because I don't know how to explain it!"

"Well you could start with the threats to Loki. It was amusing... but rather uncalled for."

"Yeah and now I feel bad because I thought I was still in my Universe so I've affectively threatened a Loki I don't even know! God I'm such an idiot." I run a hand down my face and sigh. "In my universe Loki is locked underneath the Stark Tower. I was assigned to look after him and have been for the past week. He told me about his past and something that happened to his sister when he was young. He claims that I'm that sister but I don't even know what to believe anymore."

Becca looked at me as if assessing me. "Well, you kinda do look like him. Black hair, green eyes. The only real difference is your height and your skin is a few tones darker. Man Loki would have a fit if he saw you! Not to mention it would probably send him into some state of shock, oh my god! I would so have to record his reaction and post it YouTube!" Becca started to giggle and I was lost. "Come on. You'll have to stay with me while you're here."

"Why?"

"Well for one, I don't know that I trust you to stay around Loki without at least trying to kill him and since I bailed you out and you're not even 18, I am in charge of you." I grumble some unintelligible answer as I follow her to her car. "Okay. Ground rules. No killing anyone, especially Loki. You may have it in for the guy, but a friend of mine likes him and she would kill you if you killed him."

"Where's the fun in that? I kill for a living Becca. I'm an assassin!"

"So? Natasha and Clint are too, but you don't see them killing people left, right and center. They may not like him that much but they tolerate him to a certain extent. You'll have to adapt and do the same until we figure out how to get you back to your universe."

"You know what you're asking is impossible right?" I look over at her as she starts the car and drives.

"I could easily lie and say no, but I've been where you are right now. Don't worry too much about it. Second rule is, don't anger Bruce." I snort.

"Why would I do that? My Bruce is the same as yours. Anger him and the Hulk comes out to play. Not the best move in history." She looks at me from the corner of her eyes.

"He's my half-brother Andrea. I don't need him stressed more than he already is. Third rule; if you happen to come across people you might class as 'weird' just... ignore them."
