Chapter 65

It had been a few weeks since Byakuya and I started to speak with each other.

He was really nice, although I felt sad that his wife had recently passed away.

"Will you search for her little sister?" I asked him as we were at his wife's tombstone.

Byakuya shook his head. "As much as I want to, I cannot."

I stared at Hisana's picture. "You have to. She wanted to find her right? Grant her wish."

Byakuya glanced at me and smiled a bit. "I should take you back to Aizen. He dislikes you leaving his side."

I gave Byakuya a small pout. He couldn't tell because my face was always covered with my hood.

"For once, I do wish to see your face." Byakuya said.

I quickly shook my head. "Aizen doesn't want anyone seeing my face. I respect my future hus-"

Byakuya quickly held both my hands. "Do you even love that man?"

I thought about it and slowly nod. "Aizen is my everything. I love him. Why?"

"Captain Kuchiki, you have a visitor." A servant of Byakuya's household said.

Aizen appeared and had a small smile. "There you are, how is it that I knew you'd be here?"

"Aizen, Byaku... Captain Kuchiki and I were just talking." I explained.

Aizen's stare was focused on Byakuya.

He walked towards me and Byakuya. He stared at Hisana's tombstone.

"I wonder, how hurt will one be to lose their love one? Specially, if the other had no business with the lover." Aizen said.

I reached for Aizen's hand and held it. "I'm sorry for wandering off without your permission. Are you angry?"

Aizen shook his head. "As long as you apologized. You will always be forgiven. I will never despise you. I will always forgive you."

I smiled brightly at Aizen's words.

Byakuya frowned and closed his eyes.

Aizen and I left Byakuya's home to head home ourselves.

"What did you and Captain Kuchiki talk about?" Aizen asked.

"We were talking about his wife, Hisana. It's really hard to see Captain Kuchiki so deeply in love with someone." I told Aizen.

Aizen held my hand tightly. "I was very jealous."

"Jealous? What for?" I asked him.

Aizen turned to face me and had a sad look on his face. "You always spend time with him... I really wish I had more free time. Do you ever reveal your face to him?"

I just shook my head and looked up at the sky. It was night. The stars were twinkling.

"I love you dearly, Blossom." Aizen said as he kissed my forehead.

"I love you too, Aize." I smiled.

Everything was fine, until the true incident happened.

"C-Captain Kuchiki! Stop!" I cried.

Byakuya had attacked Aizen in front of the other captains.

"You were the cause of Hisana's death! I overheard your lackeys talking." Byakuya said, there was anger in his tone.

"Captain Kuchiki stop this at once!" Captain Yamamoto yelled.

Byakuya moved a step back and grabbed my arm. "I am going to take his lieutenant. Who knows what he will do to her."

"Captain Kuchiki, this is not allowed!" Captan Yamamoto once again yelled.

"Are you really going to stay with this man?! He will do the same to you, what he did to Hisana." Byakuya explained.

He then held my hand and touched my face.

I looked at Aizen and I felt hurt inside. "I don't..." I paused.

I wanted to stay by Aizen... He was my world.

The Head Captain had a few Soul Reapers investigate the argument.

I was at Aizen's room sitting on his bed and hugged myself.

Not long did he walk in.

"Aizen... " I slowly got up and I wanted to cry.

Aizen stared at me with a smile. "Blossom, can you come with me? I wanted to show you something. Don't worry, I am not mad."

He held his hand out to me and I reached for his hand.

He took me deep in a forest area and it was dark. "Blossom, do you know how special you are to me?" Aizen asked, as he stopped in his tracks.

I stopped and looked down. "I don't know..."

Aizen turned to me and gave me his kind smile. "I love you very much. I refuse to share you..."

His hands touched my face and he pressed his lips against mine.

But, I felt a sharp pain through my chest.

As Aizen pulled away, my eyes widened.

"You will be my source of power." Aizen whispered.
