Chapter 24

Byakuya stared at Aizen, but seemed like a glare. "I thought you were dead."

Aizen smiled at Byakuya. "It was a trick of mine. But, my plan was ruined because of those Ryoka's."

"Ichigo!" I yelled, I tried to run to him. But, Gin pulled me back by my hair.

I winced and glared at Gin.

"Let her go!" Ichigo yelled.

I looked behind Ichigo and saw Uryu, Chad, Orihime, Yachiru, and all the other lieutenants and Captains behind them.

"Blossom!" Uryu and Orihime yelled.

Suddenly, a man with dark skin and dark brown braids appeared in front of us.

"Lord Aizen, I brought her." He spoke.

In the man's arms was Rukia. Everyone was shocked as to what was going on.

"Now, I'm going to take what's mine.The Hogyoku." Aizen said.

I watched in horror as Aizen removed something from Rukia's body.

"Rukia!!!" Ichigo yelled.

"What shall we do with her now?" Gin asked.

"Kill her." Was Aizen's reply.

As Gin's zanpakuto stretched to stab Rukia, Byakuya had saved Rukia and was stabbed instead.

"Byakuya!" I cried.

"Big brother..." Rukia tried to help her brother get up.

The Head Captain appeared. "Captain Sousuke, what is the meaning of this?!"

"You old fool, can you not see that it's a betrayal? I simply cannot live in these conditions. With these weak captains and lieutenants. I can obtain more immense power now." Aizen explained.

Gin's sword went back to it's normal form, and Byakuya fell on his knees.

I couldn't bare to see Byakuya like this.

"Aizen..."  I spoke his name in a low tone.

"Let go of Blossom... Gin." Byakuya managed to say.

"My,my... What are your orders, Lord Aizen?" Gin asked.

Aizen walked towards me, his smile remained and he whispered something to me.

My eyes teared and I looked away.

"Let her go, Gin." Aizen ordered.

Gin let go of me, he pushed me to Byakuya and Rukia. The sky suddenly opened and a light surrounded the three.

I watched as the three were being lifted into the hole in the sky. Aizen pulled his hair back and removed his glasses.

"Since the beginning, no one has ever stood in the heavens. Neither you, nor me, not even God himself. But that unbearable vacancy in the throne of Heaven shall be filled. From this day forth, I will stand in heaven." Aizen glanced at me with a smile.

I took a step and tried to reach for Aizen. But, Byakuya pulled me away. "Let them go. You try to go near them, you'll die."

The three disappeared and Byakuya fell on his knees again.

"Byakuya..." I helped him stand up.
