Chapter 22

Byakuya and I were both at the restaurant that Aizen and I used to eat at.

I was quiet and poked my food.

Byakuya just stared at me.

"Byakuya?" I said his name, but didn't look at him.

"What is it?" He asked.

It took me a while to say what I was going to say. "It just occured to me...But, you said you would take me to see Ichigo.. Knowing Ichigo, he still wants payback for the last time in Karakura Town and earlier... Are you going to use me again?" I asked.

Byakuya took a sip of his tea and didn't answer.

"I see... Well, I will tell you this. Even I will go against you and fight by Ichigo's side." I told him, before getting up to leave.

"I am not going to use you. You are merely going to watch as I kill him." Byakuya said.

I looked away and hugged myself. "Suit yourself, beca-" I stopped.

What is this... Spiritual pressure? It can't be...

I looked around and noticed a girl running on the rooftop. She seemed to be in a hurry, soon I realized it was Momo. 

 I looked at Byakuya and he didn't seem to notice the spiritual pressure.

"Byakuya, I'm going. I wish to see Jushiro." I said and ran off.

Byakuya's eyes watched and he sighed.

"Oh. Captain Kuchiki, I didn't expect to see you here." Someone said.

Byakuya looked up and saw Kenpachi. Kenpachi had a grin on his face.

Before following Momo, I hid my spiritual pressure.

Could she have sensed that spiritual pressure too?

She soon stopped in a corner and so did I.

I saw Hitsugaya and his lieutenant stop in front of a door. They both had a shocked looked on their faces.

"Izuru!" Hitsugaya yelled.

The Captain and lieutenant ran inside. Soon, Momo walked towards the door and she also had a shocked looked on her face. I got curious and made my way to her.

"M-Momo?" I spoke in a low tone.

As I got close to her, my eyes widened. I saw dead bodies of Soul Reapers.

"Hm? You two shouldn't be hanging around here." A familiar voice said.

This made Momo and I turn around. "B-Blossom...? Captain Ichimaru...?"

I raised my left arms toward him. "Ah-ah. I didn't come here for a fight. Someone wishes to meet you both." Gin explained.

Momo and I stared at each other before just nodding our heads .

"Where are we?" I asked Momo.

"This is the Central 46 compound... But, we're not allowed here." Momo said.

Why is Gin taking us here if not even Momo is allowed?

Gin stopped and he had a smirk. Momo and I kept walking pass Gin and stopped.

"Who's here to meet us?" Momo asked.

"Turn around" Gin answered.

Momo and I turned around. Our eyes widened.
