Chapter 48

I slowly opened my eyes and sat up. Only to find myself on a bed.

"Huh? One of them must have placed me here..." I yawned.

I made my way out of the bedroom to the living room but stopped.

"Why does the living room look different...?" I asked myself.

The living room had changed, the pictures on the walls were gone. Also, there was no sign of anyone.

"Hey, you know we're going to be late." Someone said.

I flinched and turned around to see a guy with blue hair, in a school uniform. Sitting on the kitchen table.

I stared at his eyes and they stared at me with a kind look

All I could say was a name, "Grimm...jow..?"

He smirked and made his way towards me.

"Yeah, what's up?" He asked.

I just stared at him. I was shocked.

"W-Where's Ichigo, Byakuya and the others?" I asked.

Grimmjow scratched the back of his head. "Ichi-who? Wow, you must have had a rough night." He laughed.

So, this is Grimmjow...

Grimmjow had forced me to change in my school uniform.

We walked side by side to school and he seemed to be staring at me a lot.

"Do I have something on my face?" I asked him.

He stopped and shook his head.

After taking a few steps, I stopped and turned to him.

"Something seems different about you. I can't say what though." He said.

I closed my eyes, hoping that I wouldn't wake up. But...

"Go to Hueco Mundo." He said.

I opened my eyes to look at him, but he was gone.

"Grimmjow...?" I said.

"Wake up." Someone said.

The area started fading, the street, the walls. Everything. Then I watched as the area faded away.

I sat up to find Byakuya staring at me. "Byakuya...?"

"Ichigo and the others left for school. Soi Fon went back to the Soul Society." He said.

"I see. Oh, what are you going to do today?" I asked.

Byakuya looked around and then at me. "Would you like to go out?" He asked.

I tilt my head to the side. "As in go out to hang?"

"Yes. Maybe, it will help you regain  your memories..." He said.

I could tell that Byakuya looked depressed.

A few minutes later, I got ready and we left the house.

"So, you know the area here?" I asked.

"A bit. But, I can assure we won't get lost." He answered

I smiled and looked at Byakuya. "You know where Ichigo's school is?"

He nods his head.

"Ah, then maybe we can go meet them when they get out." I spoke softly.

Byakuya, stared at me and touched my face. "Very well."

I touched his hand and moved it away. "Byakuya, you're acting strange."

I can't focus on Byakuya though, I was trying to remember what Grimmjow had said in my dream.

"Let's go to the park. You would love it this time of year." He smiled.

Byakuya smiling, it sure freaked me out. But, this was the smile he had in the picture. The sincere smile, the smile that made him look like the happiest person on earth and I'm witnessing that smile.

He took my hand and I followed him as he started to walk.

"Ichigo, isn't that Blossom and Byakuya?" Orihime asked.

Ichigo turned around and stared at us. "Blossom?"

"Ah! We should go say hi! I mean, it wasa short day at school today. So, we have a lot of time to hang out." Orihime told Ichigo.

Ichigo just nods his head.

"Blossom! Byakuya!" Orihime yelled.

Byakuya and I stopped. We spotted Orihime and Ichigo making their way towards us.

"Ichigo, Orihime. Huh? Don't you guys have school today?" I asked.

Orihime nods her head. "Yeah, but today is a short day today. So, we got out of school early. We were going to head to your house, but..."

I saw that Orihime was looking at Ichigo, who was looking at me and Byakuya.

I stared at where he stared and pulled my hand away from Byakuya's hold.

"But?" I looked at Ichigo too.

Ichigo seemed to snap out of his thought. "Huh? Oh, yeah. I got you this."

He held out a plushie animal. This time it was a cat.

"I love it!" I smiled brightly, as I took it and hugged it.

Orihime laughed. "I told you she would love the cat."

"Yeah, sorry to doubt you." Ichigo smiled.

Byakuya, who stayed quiet, glared at Ichigo.
