Two months had passed since Grimmjow's death. I had moved to Karakura Town and tomorrow, I was going to be a student at Karakura High. It was what my parents wanted and what Grimmjow supported.

I was in the living room, watching television. When, a loud knock came from my door. I quickly got up and ran to the door to open it.

It was my friend, Ichigo Kurosaki. He's my next door neighbor.

Ichigo has spiky orange hair. He is fairly tall, lean-built with peach skin and brown eyes. He's stubborn, short-tempered, strong-willed and impulsive. He lives with his father and two younger sisters named Yuzu and Karin.

Ichigo walked in my house without an invite. He reminded me of Grimmjow in so many random ways. Then, I noticed that he was carrying groceries.

"Ichigo, did you go and buy me groceries?" I asked, with an annoyed tone.

"Of course. If I don't,  you'd probably starving to death. Remember last month?" He asked me, with a smirk.

Of course I remembered my first month. I loved Ichigo's family, but I was eating dinner with them for a near two weeks. All because I forgot to buy groceries.

"Yes, I do." I frowned.

Ichigo was a very nice guy. I felt very lucky to move close to him.

"Keep this up and you could be my next best friend." I joked.

Then, Ichigo held me by my shoulders and had a pout. "You mean, after this past month I have been nothing but kind to you. I'm just a friend?" He asked.

I let out a small sigh. "Fine. You kind sir, have been upgraded as my best friend. But, you can never replace my first best friend."

He nods his head and let out a small laugh.

He then let go of me and walked towards the kitchen to put the groceries on the table.

I smiled and followed him. I have never been this happy in my entire life. Not even with... Grimmjow. Grimmjow wasn't the type of guy to have fun. But, Ichigo... He knows how to make people smile.

Having Ichigo around, even though it has been a month since we spoke, I felt weird around him.

"Oh, Blossom. You're starting high school tomorrow, right?" Ichigo suddenly asked.

"Ichigo, so are you. Stop asking the most obvious question." I told him.

He took out an apple from the grocery bag. "Just asking. I'll walk with you to school tomorrow. Since we are in the same grade, I definitely know you and  I are going to be in the same class. You'll even meet my friends." He said.

Friends? That's right. Ichigo has other friends. I have heard him mention them once or twice. They all sounded like a fun bunch.

As I looked at Ichigo, he had already hopped down on my couch and changed the channel on my television. I let out a soft sigh and went through the groceries. Placing the food and drinks where they belong.

I suddenly heard Ichigo say my name, "Blossom?"

I turned to face him. He was standing up removing his shirt.

"I-Ichigo!" I quickly turned away.

I heard Ichigo let out a laugh. "I was going to ask if I can use your washer and dryer. I spilled soda on me earlier. Also, can I use your shower?" He asked.

He was an idiot sometimes. But, I just nod my head and continued to store the grocery items. I closed me eyes, and the image of Ichigo shirtless image appeared. I quickly shook my head and frowned.

I'm not really interested in having a boyfriend or anything. I wanted to keep my feelings to myself. As I was going to place the milk, the air suddenly began to feel heavy.

"Not again...." I fell on my knees.

Ever since I moved to Karakura Town, I have been experiencing this heavy air. It would stop after a couple of seconds and everything seemed normal after. I would check the news about it, but no report about it.

I felt a hand on my shoulder after the heavy air stopped. I quickly got up and turned. Only to see Ichigo wearing my baggy wrestling shirt. Most of my clothes fit Ichigo perfectly. They were mostly guy shirts. What can I say, I love baggy shirts.

"What's up with you?" Ichigo asked.

Should I tell Ichigo what I felt? No, I'm sure he wouldn't believe me. But, it looked like Ichigo felt it too. Since he was looking around a lot.

"I just... Felt a heavy air..." I spoke softly.

He then focused his look on me. "So, it wasn't just me then." He said.

I told Ichigo how I had felt this heavy air since I moved here. To my surprise, Ichigo said that he was experiencing it too. A month before I arrived. During our conversation, Ichigo had suddenly told me he can see ghosts.

"You can see ghosts? That is so cool!" I smiled.

"You say that now, but it can get annoying later on." He mumbled in a low tone.

I crossed my arms and got curious. "How can you tell the ghosts apart from the human?" I asked.

"Hn? They usually have chains on their chests." He told me.

Hearing that made me flinch. I felt myself turn paler than before. When I come home at night, I always pass by a little girl always standing behind a lamp post. She did have a chain on her chest. I explained this to Ichigo.

"Haha, she's harmless. Don't worry, if a ghost hurts you. I will be there to protect you." He smiled.

Hearing Ichigo's words made me smile as well.

I looked up and saw Ichigo glance at the clock. I did as well. It was already eight at night.

"It's getting late. I'll get my shirt next time. See you tomorrow." He told me as he got up.

My goofy smile remained. I knew I would see Ichigo again tomorrow. I know he will still be alive.
