Chapter 67

It had been months since the true defeat of Aizen.

Byakuya was living at my house along with a few Soul Reapers and Zanpakuto.

"Almost finished... Ahah!" Mayuri stood up in success.

Byakuya glanced at him. "What is that?"

Mayuri scratched his chin. "It was a device that Aizen asked me to make for him. A device to return the Hyougoku into her true form."

Byakuya closed his eyes. "She destroyed herself. The gates to the Senkaimon is closed forever. I tried."

"Are you sure? Tell me, do want her back?" Mayuri asked Byakuya.

Byakuya stayed quiet for a few minutes before replying, "She loves Aizen. They died together. I will let her rest in peace."

Mayuri let out a soft sigh. "Then what shall I do with this?" He asked as he took out a Hyougoku.

Byakuya's eyes widened. "That's..."

He quickly got up and stared at the Hyougoku. "Blossom..."

"This device will bring her back. But, she will not recall any memories that has happened when she was the Hyougoku. How will you explain to her ths death of Aizen?" Mayuri asked.

Byakuya held the Hyougoku. "I will tell her that I killed Aizen. Even if she will despise me. Seeing her is good enough."

Mayuri took the Hyougoku and placed it in the machine. "The Senkaimon allowed Zanpakuto's to enter. So I sent mine."

The device started to work and the Hyougoku floated in the air. Not long did a bright light occur.

Ichigo and Orihime barged into the house. "What the hell was tha-"

Ichigo and Orihime stopped.

I slowly tried to get up, and I stared at everyone gathered around.

"Blossom..." Byakuya said.

Mayuri explained to Ichigo and Orihime my condition.

"So, this is the real her?" Ichigo asked.

Mayuri nods his head.

Orihime had a sad look on her face. "Byakuya is really..." They looked at us.

I burst into tears upon hearing that Byakuya had killed Aizen. I raised my fist and started hitting his chest.

"You're lying!" I cried.

Byakuya shook his head and hugged me.

"Let go! Let me go!" I cried.

Byakuya hugged me tighter. "I'm sorry. Please, forgive me... "

I couldn't free myself from him and continued to cry.

"Oh, Blossom..." Orihime tried not to cry.

Once everything settled, Orihime asked everyone if I could stay with her for a while. Everyone agreed.

Orihime and I were walking to her house and I hugged myself.

"Orihime, when am I allowed to go back to the Soul Society... I wish to visit Aizen's grave." I told her.

"Ah... Um... It will be awhile. Please get used to the World of the Living. I know you will love it here." She smiled.

I smiled a forced smile.

"Oh! You wanna get some things to eat? I can make a lot of wonderful delicious dishes!" She said happily.

"Yes, food would be nice." I told her.

We stopped by a grocery store. I was picking some vegetables to eat.

"You know, Byakuya really loves you Blossom." Orihime said.

She was holding a green onion in her hand and stared at it.

"Orihime, I would never replace Aizen." I told her.

She looked at me and had a sad look.

"Aizen was special to me. Sure, it was a forced marriage. But, he loved me and I loved him. He forgived me for every mistake I made. Even though my mistakes hurt him." I explained.

"Byakuya would do the same. If only you knows how much he cares for you. You would love him. You would see that he is no different." She smiled.

"You seem to know a lot about him... Do you know why he killed Aizen while I was in sleep...?" I asked her.

Orihime bit her bottom lip. "Aizen tried to destroy the Soul Society... He became corrupted... I know he loved you deep inside. That's why he asked Byakuya to stop him. He wanted you to be happy."

Happy...?

"I don't know what that is anymore..." I told her.

Orihime touched my face and wiped my tears. "Blossom, how do you feel when you were around Byakuya?"

"I... Flinched whenever he touched me ... I was afraid of him." I told her.

"Why be afraid? Why not... Give him a chance? I saw how worried Byakuya was, he always worried about you and I'm sure he would sacrifice himself to protect you." Orihime explained.

"Oh, look who's shopping too!" Someone yelled.

"Rangiku! Byakuya!" Orihme smiled.

Rangiku stopped and looked at me with surprised look. "Is that...?"

Orihime quickly shook her head.

"Ah, nice to meet you Blossom. I''m Rangiku Matsumoto." She smiled.

"How did you know my name...?" I asked.

Rangiku flinched and looked at Byakuya.

"I told her about you. About how I was the one who killed Aizen." Byakuya said.

Rangiku's smile faded and she looked at me with a forced smile.

"I see... Did Byakuya bring you to buy groceries? Because I know he can't do groceries." I smiled.

Byakuya looked at me and smiled a bit.
