Chapter 51

"Wow, Hueco Mundo looks the same." I said.

We arrived right inside Los Noches. The area seemed destroyed.

"Yeah. Last time we were here..." Ichigo paused and looked at me.

I looked back at him. "Aizen was the only person I can trust. He made me feel useful..."

"Useful? Blossom, you helped me in every battle I've been through." Ichigo said.

"Helped you? How? All I did was get taken away." I told him.

Ichigo smiled a bit and touched my face.

"In all my battles, I thought about you. How much I wanted to see you smiling at me. You were all I thought about." Ichigo whispered.

I looked away. "Ichigo, please don't do this... What if me being alive is just the work of Kyōka Suigetsu? What if I'm still Hyougoku?!" I yelled.

"Do you think I would care? We've been through a lot." Ichigo told me.

I bit my lower lip and saw a shadow move behind Ichigo.

"Yui!" I yelled.

Yui stretched and attacked the shadow, but the shadow dodged it.

Ichigo turned around and moved me behind him.

"Damn it..." The shadow said.

That voice...

"Grimmjow?" I said.

The shadow moved towards us, and it was Grimmjow. He was in his released form.

"I thought I killed you." Ichigo said.

Grimmjow just smirked and looked at me.

"You did, but you-know-who, keeps imagining me as her guardian angel." Grimmjow told us.

I couldn't help but cry as I ran to hug him.

"I'm sorry... It's so hard... You were a big part of  my life." I cried.

Grimmjow wrapped his arms around me and frowned. "Sorry. But, all I can do is help. The only way to get out of here is to get attacked. "

Ichigo looked around and then looked at me.

"Maybe, if we attack each other... We can get out of Kyōka Suigetsu!" Ichigo said.

"Precisely." Someone said.

We turned around to find everyone behind us.

Grimmjow nods his head. "Yeah. That's right. Our attacks won't work on ourselves. Meaning, one person would be left. That last person won't leave. I'd do it, but my attacks won't work."

"Who would be the last person?" Yachiru asked.

I thought about this real quick. Everyone here are actual Soul Reapers and actual human beings. I'm nothing but a fragment of the Hyougoku. I don't exist. So...

"I'll do it." Byakuya said.

Everyone looked at Byakuya.

Orihime looked at me with a worried look.

"Are you crazy, Captain Kuchiki? If someone should stay back, it should be that Arrancar." Renji said.

Everyone started talking simultaneously. 

My eyes just stared at Byakuya and he was staring at me as well.

After a few minutes of arguments. It was settled that Byakuya was going to stay.

Everyone stood together and I was at the back. Grimmjow didn't want to see me off and had left.

"Is everyone ready?" Byakuya asked.

Everyone nodded.

"Scatter, Senbonzakura." He said.

Everyone got hit with Byakuya's attack and those who got hit started fading.

Soon, it was me and Byakuya left. The senbonzakura's petals were flowing around me.

Byakuya walked towards me and touched my face.

"Accept this fate of yours." He whispered.

He closed his eyes and softly pressed his lips on mine.

I closed my eyes as well, because he was going to be gone forever.

Byakuya's eyes then widened and he moved back.

"Blossom...." He glanced at his shoulders to find Yui had pierced him.

I opened my eyes and looked at him. "Byakuya!"

He realized what he had to do. The Senbonzakura's petals had hit me as well.

This is it. We are all going to be free from Kyōka Suigetsu.
