Harry's POV-
Lola slept through most of the day. The only time she was awake was when she would stir and let out a little grunt in pain. She woke up around dinner time, but told me that she wasn't hungry still, and went back to sleep. It wasn't until about 11:00 the following morning when she actually got up.
"Good morning, Sleepy head" I smiled when she came walking into the living room.
"What year is it?" she asked, rubbing her eyes.
I chuckled. "You slept through the whole day yesterday"
She stood up on her tiptoes to look at the clock on the microwave. "Holy shit, it's already 11?"
"Yeah"
"I am so sorry, I didn't mean to sleep that long"
"Don't apologize. Are you feeling any better?"
She nodded, glancing down at her feet as Atticus stood on her hind legs and pressed her little paws against my girlfriend's leg. Lola leaned down to scratch behind her ear.
"Still a little crampy?" I asked.
"Yeah"
"I'm sorry, Love" I set my laptop aside, the assignments I was grading still up.
"It's okay, it's the downside of being a girl, I suppose"
"I don't know how you do it"
She shrugged.
"Are you going to talk to Sarah today?" I asked her.
"Yeah, I'll probably head over there now and let her know."
"Just don't tell her you're moving in with me" I added.
"I wouldn't dare" she shook her head.
"Well, I'll be here if you need me"
"Thank you" she gave me a playful salute, then walked out the door.
Atti bowed down, stretching with her butt arched up in the air, then sashayed over to me.
I patted the couch next to me and she hopped up.
"It looks like we're going to have a new roommate"
She began to purr, rubbing against the side of my leg.
Lola's POV-
Sarah's car was parked outside my unit, so I knew that she was home. Thankfully, Grayson's was nowhere to be seen. I unlocked the door and looked over at the couch. The Office was playing, but Sarah wasn't where I expected her to be. Quietly, I closed the door and slipped to my room.
I caught my reflection in the mirror, realizing that I was still in Harry's t-shirt. It was probably a good thing that I hadn't run into her. Surely, there would have been questions.
I went to my drawer and opened it up, pulling out a cropped sweater and a pair of black yoga pants. After putting them on, I threw my hair up into a bun, got my downstairs situation taken care of, and walked across the hall to my roommate's bedroom.
"Sarah?" I knocked on the door.
After a couple seconds it opened up. I could hear a Taylor Swift song streaming out of her record player.
"What?" she raised an eyebrow at me.
"So...because of the recent happenings and our differences, I have decided to move out"
"You're ditching me with all of the rent?" she snapped.
"I figured you would probably move in with Grayson" I shrugged.
