Lola's POV-

Okay, so maybe I didn't really expect saying goodbye to Harry was going to be as hard as it actually was. Last night it seemed like a couple days-easy. I could handle it. I was ready. I had lived on my own multiple times with not even a roommate.

But now that Harry was setting down a bag full of clothes and toiletries, it felt like it was going to be a lifetime.

There was this heavy lump in my throat-a feeling of the unknown and fears that when he came back he would feel differently about me. He was going off to another country, half a world away, where there were bound to be hot, Scottish women. He was undoubtedly going to have those women in his music video.

"Why the long face?" he asked, straightening up and meeting my eyes from where I was standing with a cup full of coffee held a little more tightly than normal in my hands.

"Nothing" I answered quickly. "I just hope the time goes by fast"

"It's starting to hit, isn't it?" he walked over to me and propped his back against the counter.

I nodded, trying to slow down my mind. I'm an overthinker, and I knew that no matter how much I tried to distract myself, the thoughts of him being inside another girl would be the scenario I would live by.

"Hey" he crossed his arms and smiled. "It's going to be okay. Two days. That's it."

"I know" I sighed, setting down the mug and scrubbing my hands over my face. "I need to find something to do"

"Hang out with Sarah" he suggested.

Oh. Oh. I didn't even think of that. That was bound to keep my mind from the absence, at least for awhile.

"Maybe you can even have her over, or something" he added.

"You're okay with that?"

"Of course I am. I just don't want Grayson over cause...you know..."

Should I tell him I ran into that son of a bitch the other day, and that he actually apologized? No, it would probably make him jealous right before he was supposed to leave, and honestly I didn't particularly feel like separating on a sour note.

"No Grayson. Got it. Wasn't planning on having him over, anyways"

"Obviously"

"Yeah"

He glanced at his watch under his sleeve. "Why does time always have to go by so fast whenever we're together?"

"They say time flies when you're having fun"

"Well, we certainly have fun" he smirked. "Can you believe we've almost known each other for a month?"

"It's thirty days tomorrow"

"You've been keeping up with it"

"I have"

"Cute" he relaxed his arm and walked over to me, forcing my chin up with his index finger. "I'm going to miss you"

"I'm going to miss you, too."

"I have to head to the airport now" his voice dropped, and so did his smile.

"Don't be late"

He leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to my lips before pulling away. "Text me, okay?"

"Call me when you get to Scotland"

"Will do" he gave me a playful solute before hesitantly walking over to where his bag was still sitting slouched by the door. "I love you, Lola"
