Lola's POV-

After we had finished eating, the tension only grew. To avoid having to talk to either of the guys, I helped my dad with the dishes, as well as putting away the food. Grayson went into the living room to watch the game, and Harry had gone back upstairs to my old bedroom.

Once I finished, my dad went to watch the game with Grayson, and I didn't really know what else to do, so I went upstairs. At the moment, Harry seemed a little more tolerable than my boyfriend, which was quite unfortunate.

Taking a deep breath, I pulled back my shoulders as I walked into my old bedroom. Harry was sitting on the bed with his face his notebook. When he heard me, he looked up.

"I've never seen someone look so lost in their own home before" his eyes flickered back down.

"I guess I just have a lot on my mind" I went over to my beanbag and sunk down, pulling out my phone.

"Oh, yeah?"

I didn't answer him.

"Do you want to talk about it..?"

"Why would I want to talk to you?"

"Fair point"

I glanced up at him, a little taken back that he had shut me down so quick. I didn't want to talk to him, but also a piece of me wanted him to argue with me until I recklessly poured out everything I was feeling. Gosh, I sound like a stupid middle schooler...

"Can you believe Grayson reported us?" I finally spat out, angrily scrolling on Instagram.

I felt his stare. "And you're surprised by that?"

"I don't know..."

"I guess he finally got what he wanted"

"What do you mean?" I looked up.

"For you and him to get together" he went back to his notebook, scratching something down in it.

"If you think I'm going to stay with him, you're an idiot"

He shrugged.

"You're not going to say anything?"

"I don't know what you want me to say, Lola."

My lips tightened together.

"But...I think you're a dumbass for dating him in the first place. And I think this is going to be an awkward weekend to say the least. I, mean, think about it. You're literally sharing a room with two of your ex's...that is if you have the balls to breakup with that dickhead"

"Are you jealous?" I raised an eyebrow.

"I'm not jealous. I don't get jealous. How insecure do you think I am?"

"Mhm"

"I'm just saying considering how long you put up with me, I would be shocked if you cut him off now"

"You think I'm weak" I said it more as a statement than a question.

"I didn't say that. I'm just saying you're too nice sometimes"

"I will call him right now to come up here and end everything" I started to bring up my messaging app.

"I didn't tell you to break up with him"

"Well, like I said, I'm not an idiot. How am I supposed to be with someone who made you lose your job and continued to antagonize me?"

Lola: Hey come upstairs, we need to talk

"I just texted him"

"Do you want me to step out?"

"You can stay, just keep your trap shut"
