Lola's POV
I'm pretty sure when we loaded ourselves up onto the tour bus, half of the crew was hungover. Of course, I seemed to be the only one that hadn't gotten absolutely sloshed last night. At about midnight, Valentino had announced that he was going up to his room, but encouraged everyone else to stay and party. However, I personally took that as my cue to excuse myself and crash, as well. I was two drinks in, only feeling the slightest bit of fuzziness when I did make my exit.
I guess by the time Harry had come up, I was already asleep, because I didn't see him until I had woken up the next day. And speaking of waking up, it was a rather rude awakening.
First it was the phones going off, which I heard and chose to ignore. Then it was banging on the door. Finally, it got to the point where I couldn't go back to sleep and Valentino was screaming through the door for us to hurry up, so I threw the few things I had taken out of my bag back in, threw my hair up into a messy bun, and walked down to the lobby with Harry and Lorenzo, yes still in my pajamas.
We might have gotten snapped out for a few minutes, but there wasn't long for fussing to be served since we were on a schedule, and thanks to us, we were about fifteen minutes behind. They should be grateful I didn't insist on changing or doing my makeup before we left. I knew I may as well just take care of that on the bus. And it looked like I was going to have plenty of free time to do so.
Everyone was groaning over their hangover and either went for their bunk in the hallway, or brought their laptops to the back room with the red, leather seats. Harry, Evangeline, and Kai had gone back there, so I decided to join.
Harry had collapsed onto the bench, letting his head fall to the pillows. Evangeline took a seat next to him, placing her computer on the table and unfolding the screen. I, on the other hand, followed Kai over to the Keurig, because coffee sounded like a lifesaver right about now.
"My head hurts so bad" Harry murmured.
"Do you need a Pepto?" Evangeline asked him.
"I might need an ibuprofen, or something. It's a raging one"
She looked up at me, her brown iris' boring into my own. "Can you grab it? It's up in the cabinet. And a water bottle from the mini fridge?"
"Sure" subtly rolling my eyes, I walked away from where I had parked myself behind Kai and opened up the cabinet.
"Want me to make you a cup?" Kai asked me.
"Yes please, if you don't mind" I hummed, moving some of the bottles around.
"Not at all"
"Thank you!"
Some of the names on the bottles I didn't recognize at all, and some I even debate if it were legal, or not. They had suspicious titles, and there were also bottles of opioids. Finally, I found the ibuprofen. I pulled the bottle down, opened it up, and shook two pills into my hand. Then I replaced the bottle and went to the fridge. Squatting, I pulled open the fridge and reached behind the abundance of beers and seltzers for a Dasani water bottle. Then I carried it over to my boyfriend.
"Thank you, Sunflower" he cast me a smile, taking them from me.
"No problem" sighing, I turned back to the coffee maker.
Kai handed me a cup of black coffee. "There's cream and sweeteners on the table"
"Thank you" I twisted back around and set the mug on the table.
The mug was one of those cheesy souvenir ones. It had a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge during a sunset, which was rubbing off a little bit, that's what she said, and the handle had a little chip in it, as well.
